Endometriosis Excision Surgery Vlog!

- Hello beautiful viewer! Here I am on the other end of my endometriosis excision surgery. I'm still in pain, I'm still groggy, I'm still bloated, and I'm still constipated...but for now, I am endometriosis free! I know endometriosis is a chronic illness, and I'm fully aware it will grow back--but I've taken all the precautions needed to have it grow back slower. Here's to a painfully personal vlog of what I did to prepare for my surgery & the anxiety I had leading up to the surgery, and a documentation of what I was feeling coming out of the surgery. Hopefully, I provided a sense of comfort or hope to those out there who are on their end journeys, however that looks to you right now. Here's to a more pain-free future💛

I gaslight myself with the “maybe I just have low pain tolerance” too ugh. It’s so awful! As if I’m not doubled over in pain majority of the moth. What an isolating thing.
Me too ✋️ knowing other people feel that way makes me feel better
The way your dog looked at you at the beginning was priceless 😅
The feeling of claustrophobia being stuck in this broken body and having to deal with pain forever is the perfect word to describe it. The depression and anxiety from this is so heavy.
I’m meeting with a 3rd doctor in November as a pre-op and will be scheduling diagnostic surgery from there. Afraid that they won’t find anything and everyone will think I’m indeed crazy and weak. But I’m hoping either way, whether they find it or not, that if it isn’t endo that they can find a solution and treat whatever it is. I’m so exhausted from feeling like trash for so many years. 😢
Thank you for sharing your story and expressing so well what I’ve been feeling and suffering silently. It’s comforting to know I’m not alone ❤
Hi there, how did the surgery go? Are you doing better now?
Thank you so much for this vlog, I was looking for endo vlogs because I have an upcoming excision surgery and I'm so scared, it''s my first surgery ever and I'm terrified, but seeing you was really comforting. I hope you are doing well now!
How did your surgery go? Did they find endo, and how was recovery? Hoping you are well ❤ I’m scheduling my first surgery in November to determine diagnosis
Mine is in 6 days 😅 hope yours went well!
@@heatherb9853 hi, i’m writing this now from my sofa crying in agony bc of severe pain i’m 19 years old and i’ve been under gynae for years. they’ve said a lap is the best thing for me however i’ve told them i’ve avoided it bc im terrified of getting put to sleep and being under . and on the leaflet it says 1 in 1000 women face severe complications and that’s made me even more scared. i have ocd anxiety and im also autistic so i have no idea what to do but this pain is horrible. how was your experience?
I feel so seen. Especially about the claustrophobia in the body part. Thank you for making this, my first surgery is next month and I’m so scared !!
I’m having surgery next week and I’m so glad I just found your channel! Thank you 💕
Hi. How did it go? Are you feeling well now? Waiting for my first (and hopefully one) laparoscopy for endometriosis.
@@evelinapustova182 it went very well! They did find endo and a lot as removed. Recovery has been better than I anticipated 💚
Thank you for sharing this, I'm going in for surgery in two days and I can't wait!
Good luck! You'll do great
Hope youre feeling better you rock!!!! Keep up the fantastic work my friend !!!
Thank you for sharing your experience & wish you all the best on your healing journey 😊 💓
You are literally my favorite person rn lol. I'm dealing with a lot. I just came to terms with being autistic so I had been watching your stuff on autism. But I've also been dealing with girl issues and I've exhausted my options. I'm diagnosed with pcos but there's something else going on the pain is like a 7/10 now at almost every period (iud insertion and removal was only 2/10 for reference). I cramp all month. My periods are irregular but when I do have them they are too long. The longest being 6 months. I bleed heavier. Etc. I also have a family history of endo. Ik I should probably get tested but I'm scared bc it's surgery. I came to this realization today and I'm so scared and a crying mess. (I've also been on my period for nearly 2 weeks so that may contribute). Anyway, imagine my surprise when I look up endo and it's already someone I recognize it was so comforting. Am I still crying yes, but idk I guess I'm just saying thank you for being so open about things. It made me feel so much less alone.
Thank you for sharing this vlog with us 🙏💖 I don't have endometriosis but I am going to be having surgery (spine surgery) and I'm also Autistic and feeling quite anxious/nervous about it and have been trying to prepare mentally as well as practically, and it helped so much to find this video and see how you prepared your space and nurtured yourself in recovery. And what you talked about with the pain of the solution being better than the intense levels of chronic pain. It's been encouraging, thank you so much 🌸
I’m day 1 post op and totally understand what you mean about feeling claustrophobic. My chest feels tight and it’s hard to breathe deeply and just overall uncomfortable
Thank you! Watched your video before my surgery and afterwards again.
So precious Fluffy fluffy baby cat accompanying you while recovery ❤
So sorry about the surgery that you got done I hope you get better soon
Thank you. Really helpful with knowing what to expect RE recovery x
I am at day 7 post-surgery and having a completely different experience to this. I still can't walk upright, it is exhausting just having a short shower, and my insides feel like a guitar that was tuned too tightly.
Hello how is the pain right now after 2 weeks? My girl friend got diagnosed today and might have the surgery i am looking for every information i can please provide as much information from your experience as possible. Thanks alot and hope. You have a fast recovery
very aspiring and informative! i you’re so strong and i hope you get better!
Wait do you have endo in diaphragm ? My breathing does that. I’m waiting on a second hopefully better surgery (I had ablation 1.5 years ago waiting for excision now) but I’m constantly out of breath, I thought that it was related to smoking cannabis or breathing through the pain. When you said you get claustrophobic in your body it nailed it, holy crap. I am crying. I’m so sick of this pain, we deserve better.
Sorry I should’ve watched full before I asked questions. Haha
Now that it’s been a couple years, are you glad you had the surgery? I’m so scared of it but my symptoms are getting worse by the month 😢
Surgery was life changing. Totally worth it.
I had on it on the 9th 2023 my bladder is so swollen and hurts so bad 😢
Have any ladies has an excision surgery and are very happy with it? If so, where did you have it done?
Awww, your pets are so damn cute!! 🥹💖
Love how your goldi is giving you the offensive side eye.. 👁️🔥
😅😂
Your cat didn't want to get off your lap because they were trying to heal you. Purring helps heal some kinds of body tissue. Cats know that.
Yeah, their prayer has a special Electroman frequencies and they also see on the ultraviolet realm
Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Could you maybe explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that freaks me out!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!
This is the scariest part for me. I never get used to it.
It feels like you get really sleepy but that only lasts for a second before you’re out. Then you basically wake up in a bed w surgery done.
How did your surgery go? Did you get relief ?
I had my fibroid removed this week. Apparently they found endometriosis while doing my myomectomy and they did an excision of it at the same time. The doctors still haven't told me about it. I only found out what was done because I had to ask my nurse if they removed all.of the fibroids and she read from my chart " Laperscopic myomectomy and excision of endometriosis".
Hi do you think it’s as hard to recover if you are just having a diagnostic larposcopy? Without removing the endometriosis 💕
What was your surgeon's name? Where did you get your surgery please?
My cat who normally doesn't jump on me, literally kept trying to jump on my lap and my tummy after this surgery. I think they want to try to make it better, but aren't sure so they get awkward and fo weird stuff 😅
I think I have it and waiting for surgery is brutal😢
Did you end up staying with Mirena iud? Do you still get cramps from it?
Yes and sometimes I do, not often.
Hey I’m just wondering how you’ve been now post surgery a few years later - is the surgery worth it?
Yes. 2000% worth it. All endo symptoms disappeared after. My surgeon did really well
@@thethoughtspot222wow, did you take hormones after surgery or make any life changes to avoid needing surgery again?
How nauseas were you after surgery I really don’t want throw up I have a phobia 😓
I wasn’t at all because I thoroughly warned my anesthesiologist about my issues with nausea. So she took really good care of me thankfully
I had this but it didnt help
I have stage 2/3 endometriosis with back and leg pain with numbness. I want Endometriosis surgery, but after a recent appendectomy, they found that the tumour originated in the colon instead. It’s not fair!
That water bottle you have don't drink that water it starts tasting like kerosene after awhile I have highly developed tastes buds
Seems to be a female curse endometrium growing outside of the uterus so I believe if I have that right and a lot of womenfolk suffer from it my heart goes out to them
