I think its so great you shared this :) I had my gallbladder out before I had any of my children and they told my husband it was going to feel like I had been in a car accident since they blew my stomach up. The trapped gas in my shoulders and back was awful for a few days.
If you plan to have children trap gas and constipation can be bad too. I couldn't go for 2 weeks after my 2nd baby. So I also suggest to new moms eat fiber and miralax before delivery.
So glad you are feeling better and surgery went well.

I got my surgery 3 days ago and already start feeling better. My only issue is so far sleeping at night for straight is the hardest but manageable nothing to worry about it. It is so much better living without Endometriosis🎉 Fast recovery everyone❤

So glad I found this video! Hope you have healed well! Endometriosis can be found on scans. I have stage IV deep infiltrating endo (the worst and rarest kind) and it was found on a scan. Whilst very rare, it is possible . ❤

Thank you! I am better for sure. It has come back a bit but not as bad as before the surgery. I’m going to start pelvic floor physical therapy soon. And Wow! I’m so glad they were able to find that. Are you doing better?

@abegalelindo7314 it’s painful but not as bad as before. I’m starting pelvic floor physical therapy soon and getting an IUD which should help - these were recommended by multiple doctors I’ve seen!

Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Could you maybe explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that freaks me out!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Of course! I’ve been under anesthesia four times, and when they do it, it’s done with a needle the same way as an IV is given. l feel relaxed, peaceful, and eventually a little sleepy, and sometimes a little cold because it’s basically like cold water immediately going into your body so they can give you a blanket. And then sometimes they’ve had me count down from 10 or they ask me to tell a story about something and then the next thing I know, I wake up in a different spot once the surgery is done. They let you wake up naturally when your body is ready, for me it’s usually been within an hour after the surgery is done. When I wake, I feel a little groggy and nauseous. But they can recommend medication for you to prevent the nausea, and then they usually make you eat a little something (like crackers) so that you can take pain medication. They will talk about how the surgery went but they will usually only do this with the person who is taking you home from the surgery, as they won’t allow people to drive afterwards. So someone will need to take you home and then I recommend just trying to sleep when you get home. It’s never been very hard for me to fall asleep when I get home and I sleep usually for 3-5 hours. Once you wake up after you’re at home, the anesthesia should be worn off. Also they won’t let you leave the hospital till they can tell you’re not super loopy anymore. I’ve never had a bad experience with it. One time I had amazing dreams. The anesthesiologist will talk with you through it beforehand to help calm nerves as well! Hope this helps (:

For all the girlies who have endo and also did the laparoscopy i need advice.
So doctors have been trying to diagnose me for 10 years and i went thru so many gastroenterologists and procedures with colonoscopys and endoscopys that ic ant even count and never took my pain away or got a diagnosis and they suggested me going to a gynecologist to see if i have endometriosis because everytime they press on my abdomen the part that hurts , its the gyno part.
So did the mri but nothing...they wanna do the surgery but everyone is telling me its not worth it because there isnt anything in the mri.
I dont know what else i can do, i have headaches, painful abdominal pain since forever , no matter what i eat..i dont know.
    Please helpful advice.

If I were in your place, I would do the laparoscopic surgery. It’s a simple surgery and a quick recovery and totally worth it. If they don’t find anything, it won’t have been too much of a “waste of time” as some may say. Then you’ll have answers for sure as to if it is endometriosis or not, and if it’s not then you can move forward to working with another doctor on what the answer may be. I highly recommend also seeing a gynecologist yearly to do a checkup on everything anyway, so this would be a good way to do a “well woman exam” (that’s what insurance calls it) and discuss the issues you’ve been having and hopefully schedule a surgery!
I’m so sorry you’ve been dealing with this. It sounds horrible, and I hope you find answers soon 🤍
