That loose figure is the spitting image of Hayden Christensen in Episode II. Surprisingly so! Crazy how the molds are changed so often, even on the same card-back sometimes. Crazy how just a little bit of plastic and colors can make such a difference in likeness accuracy.
I'm just glad I snagged the better looking one! ! ☺😊 The toyshop of mentioned has TONNES of the cropper lookimg one! Forgot to also mention that HE DIDN'T come with that robe.... that's something I added! 😉 Thanks for watching and commenting! 👌 O.O.K 💙
Nick, I have looked at many of these and I have to say that the figure you have is the product of someone painting the eyebrows and eyes “just right” at the factory. The vast majority of these are not painted like yours. Eyebrows are usually painted higher or thicker and eyes on most are painted larger or wonky giving him the appearance of being surprised or looking at something in the sky…lol. I bought a carded 2nd release and he doesn’t look like yours 😢 Although the lighter hair color is preferred, IMO the eyes correctly painted make the likeness. I’m still looking for one like yours. You got a special figger!! 👍
FINALLY found one painted like yours. Was not easy to find. Looked at dozens of these, and somehow found one that looked like yours. The differences between paint apps on this figure are crazy.
He's awesome isn't he. Man I'd dug it on a nice AOTC cardback using the still that you see in thumbnail! I'm not as inspired by the peasant disguise card! ☺ O.O.K 👌💙
The 1 you have carded is the 1st release.,the loose 1 s the 2nd release. Don't use JTA., use Jedi Business.,their visual library is much better across all lines
Had TVC continued this figure and the arena Padme would have been on proper cards....just imagine that headsculpt with phototech. Blonde hair was a running change and the 2nd one released.
Yes he is a way better figure, but I'm still a bit meh on the softgoods... It would be cooler if the used something like the cape the Lando General figure from the 80's had... It was thinner but it wasn't as clumsy looking... It's because I don't like the way it puffs up the figure when the certain figure is wearing it... Still better than nothing, but I would prefer if it wasn't as puffy :)
I added thst soft goods cape myself so you know! ☺ I like soft goods robes for vintage jedi... although they DO need improving. They need some sort of wire to brace the hood so their shame can be sculpted etc ☺
No Anakin did not come on a tie fighter pilot card he only came on the orange card and the Amazon exclusive set ... I hope they put him on a VC card with lighter hair
