Love what the Crane 4 has to offer as noted in this video. I wonder if my Canon rebel t5i would work in this gimbal. I realize some features of the gimbal maybe advanced for a t5i. Anyone in this thread offer advise to wether the Canon t5i will work on this Crane 4

Hey Chris, separate question. With the a7RV do you find the micro jitters on a gimbal are amplified to previous sony cameras?
My a7RV shakes A LOT! (sorry I've not seen many other people using this camera doing gimbal work) This happens for me regardless of the different stabilization modes. active is a little less but its still pretty bad.
the a7iv is miles better on a gimbal but I'm not sure if its just me
Hmmm something isn’t right. It shouldn’t shake at all If balanced correctly. Also don’t use any form of body or lens stabilization when on a gimbal, that’s where you can get unwanted jitters. What lens?
@@chrisbrockhurst Yeah all balanced correctly. then calibrated. to be honest I don't think its a gimbal issue (I used the Ronin RS2). It was moreso the cameras that I noticed it in. Microjitters. The a7iv just doesn't have nearly as many, I just took it as maybe the a7rv is a photo first camera so maybe that's why. Am I bugging out, I thought you said you were using the RV but I'm sure looking at it more closely you're using an fx3 🤦🏾♂.
But yeah, I don't use the stabilization typically, I just tried it to make sure I wasn't missing a trick.
No worries if it doesn't happen to you, I may have to just speak to the store I got it from. I just wanted to know if I was facing similar issues.
@@MarvellousVisuals I’ve read in the comments of a different videos covering Gimbals, that the wrong focal settings caused similar, wobbly problems for the commenter with his A7iv.
His solution was setting the SteadyShot focal settings to Auto.
Maybe it will do the trick for you as well.

Chris, could you do some videos about how to get real estate photo/video jobs?
Just curious, what value do you have your zebras set at for real estate? I go 70 for human subjects, but wasn’t sure if you shoot for something else with inanimate objects
75 for people and lower limit 94+ for everything else

Cool vid. What sort of ball park price do you charge for this? Do you charge the owner or realtor?
So as this was sponsored I comped it for the realtor, essentially that pays me, my time, my BTS shooter but typically with a realtor led tour it would start at $900 🇨🇦 but obviously depends on square footage and style. If it’s simple and non realtor led you can go cheaper. My advice is to steer clear of the bulk/cheaper listings as it just becomes a price battle with everyone else. It’s also very different in every market which varies by town/country
Pricing can be hard, I agree with Chris stay clear of bulk and cheaper listings. I charge £195 for a basic video on smaller property's, this includes the drone, around 1 min 30 to 2 mins. Then if they want shorter edits for insta FB etc, I'll normally charge an extra hour. If it's a bigger, nicer, more expensive place I start at around £300 upwards, kind of depends on what I think it's worth charging. If they want to the agent leading the tour, it's worth charging more, I add on £100. I mostly charge the estate agent directly.

Hi Great video!! I'm having a problem and I want to know if you know how can I fix it. Brand new Crane 4. Charged at home, once fully charged when I unplugged the USB-C the screen won't stop showing the battery icon, never turns off. Even when I power on the unit it shows like it's still charging.
Updated to the latest firmware and it does the same thing. Zhiyun support told me via Facebook that it could be a hardware problem with the unit so I got another unit from the retailer, same problem.

I for the life of me can’t get Bluetooth trigger to work on my a7s3
I just figured out the issue. For Sony a7s3 you need to use the usb c to multi usb cable in order to control the cameras shutter speed, iso, aperature. And for the Bluetooth you need to have rec w/ shutter turned on.
