Some added info to go with the video. Generally speaking a house up to 3000sq ft I can shoot one of these with the Realtor in 1.5hrs, normally less. Confidence on camera is key for this and I only work with limited clients (RUclips is my main job) Edit time is approximately 3-4hrs and normally I have alot more titles, motion graphics with tracking etc in the video. Pricing starts at $750+ USD for a video like this and its delivered within 48 hrs. That price is fully dependant on your market.
Great video Chris, thank you! Out of curiosity did you also offer real-estate photography in your packages, or did you stick to just video? Thanks again eh!
just starting out and had my first real estate shoot 3 days ago... it didn't go so smoothly: shot full auto WB and auto ISO :( editing was a headache. wish I would have watched this before, great video! do you also include photo in your package?
As a young person just starting to get into filming, this video was amazing and has showcased a tone of helpful tips and tricks. Thank you so much Chris!
Dude this was so good. First off, the actual final video I forgot I was on RUclips haha. Felt legit like a TLC “House Hunters” episode but with a better realtor 😎😂 Awesome work and yo! Kudos to directing, remembering tales, AND filming your own bts all at once. Awesome work man.
ahhh you're too kind Justin. That means alot!! I genuinely enjoy making this style of video, it feels so natural to me to make. I'm sure very much like how when your shooting a BTS video. Hope I can get more of these made soon. Appreciate you!
I stayed up late last night and took notes on this mate. Been making films for a bit and finally decided that I was tired of going hungry and put together a business plan. From the most sincere place in my heart, thank you for this. I hope you get to see all the ways this contribution elevates the community- it certainly will elevate my business and family. If you’re ever in the Burlington VT USA area would love to buy you a drink! Be well.
I just have to say. Super super SUPER thanks for making this video for us. This is huge for upping my skills and making money with real estate. Thanks bro.
Wow Chris! This was essentially a masterclass. You shared so much knowledge and this will definitely help so many people. I also enjoyed watching you and Carrie work together. Fantastic video!
Excellent video, I recently bought the Fulaim X5 wireless kit. Absolutely great for these realtor walk through videos. Just set the levels, hand it to the realtor to either clip it or use the magnet. No need to ever assist them running the risk of "getting handsy". Btw, this was HGTV quality and actually better in a lot of cases. I've seen some not so well shot episodes. You and your wife should have your own show, you 2 are that good! Finally, I shoot in 4K 30fps slowing it down to 24fps and its buttery smooth.
I can say that I'm new to video shooting and this video helped me a lot in getting to know the RS3 Mini. It also helped me improve my shooting angles and video shooting technique. Watching you shoot the video and seeing how you shoot helped me understand a lot. Thank you for the video dude :)
Thank you so much for this. As I am also starting my business here in Canada, I highly appreciate you sharing your knowledge, I hope 2023 is great for you!
This is very informational and useful to see. Im not going to lie, I have a bit of anxiety getting myself started with real estate videography and photography, but it helps to see the process through and through sometimes. Great video!
Brilliant!! I am making every agent on my team watch this you show more then just making a video. Every real estate agent should watch this … Thank you!
Watch those vertical lines, they're slightly off and absolutely thrashing my OCD right now. Congrats on the growth of the chanel man, enjoy watching your content :)
@@chrisbrockhurst Now my questions, Love the look you have with you log. Are you always at +2,0? what range of iso are you staying in. Cus I see you are staying ay F4 and one shot your iso was at like 1300 or so. Also, what are your auto focus settings with the V. Focus was killer all video
I just started looking into doing property tours and photography just got all my gear including the dji camera stabiliser which happens to be the same one ur using 😅. This video was very help ful for a beginner like me could you do a vid showing how to use the stabiliser

This is by far the best video I have seen on this topic Chris! Thank you very much for the tremendous effort and sharing all this often impossible to find knowledge ;) 👊
Thanks for taking your time to put this together. A good addition to the craft. I am curious about your comment on shutter speed and the occasional low light situation you sometimes hit in some homes. How do you compensate in situations like that?

Chris, great video (as always). Quick question: At 18:14 you talk about shooting for interiors and fixing the "little over exposed" windows in post in "SL3"? (Least that's what it sounds like you say). Can you explain that a little deeper? I shoot with a Sony A7iii and my biggest failure is having windows "blown out" when the interior is exposed properly. Love to learn some tips! Thanks.
Always slow and smooth with the deadband set so you have to move it a decent amount before it picks up movement (you can set this on the gimbal or in the ronin app)
I have learned so much from this about working with a gimbal. Thank you! I didn't think I can simulate slider movements with a gimbal and I probably can't yet at this point. Your footwork blew me away! How much of a difference does the double grip make on the gimbal?
ahhh this is amazing to hear, thankyou for sharing. The Dual grip makes me feel like i can grip the Gimbel in a way that just feels smoother to hold. A wider grip helps more than you realise. You dont necessarily need this exact one but something similar will help you!

Great Video! So Educational. Looking forward for the Other Video Coming with the Details of Your Camera Gimbal Setting. I am really curious on the Aputure F4-F8? Which Manual Mode or Shutter/Aputure Priority? Focus Area (Wide, Zone)?
What I forgot to add. Do you consider filming with a double gripp is way better/easier then just holding the gimbal or why are you using one? Many Thanks
Thankyou! I have a couple of vids coming that will explain all those things actually. Generally speaking im always in manual, full control is my preference
Chris- thanks for the BTS sharing of your expertise! Question for Chris or anyone: With this video being shot at 60fps with the audio of someone talking, doesn't that mean the audio will be sped up or slowed if the speed of a clip is retimed on a 30fps or 24fps timeline?
Wow wow wow!! I really loved this video (I'll probably watch it a few more times) I love how you show your work process. very very valuable and I appreciate you sharing your knowledge so freely. Chris just wondering what focus settings are you using when your wife speaks... I noticed everything looks in focus.. Is the wide angel lens making the whole scene in focus? I imagine you are using face tracking ... thanks -!
Eye AF focus but also I’m using F4 or higher to have more in focus because people want to see everything in general with real estate
I have a Sony ZV-E10 camera with Sony 11mm f.8 lens for landscape videography I need a lens with blurry effect for real estate hosting video please suggest which budget lens should I buy like Viltrox 35mm or 50mm, Sigma 30mm or tamron 17-70mm zoom lens ?
you say u dont care about shutter spped. do you try to keep it cinematic when u can and do you have limits either way?
What gimbal is that?! I have the Ronin SC but I am not a fan, I like yours!
thank you for guiding us!
Extremely helpful, thank you!!
You're welcome!
Awesome video! What mode do you like to use on the RS3 for the interior following shots of with the realtor?
Always the slowest and smoothest possible i can. Deadband should be set so you have to move it a fair amount before it reacts
This was awesome. Thank u so much!
Glad you liked it!
HI CHRIS is 16 f2.8 its enough for filming electrical works in site
Setting for keep that move smoothly?
I’m looking at starting to create real estate walkthroughs and this video is incredibly helpful. I was intending to get the Nikon 14-13mm f4 lens. You say that you shoot with f1.8 at 14mm. Do you think f4 would be ok or do I really need the wider aperture?
Having watched the whole video I see that you do recommend f4 for the B-roll so that answers my question. Such a great video dude 👏
So beautiful
Thanks?
