So these guys basically a loosely based on AoE Grimlock, Scorn, Strafe, Snarl, and Slug, respectively. They've been simplified quite a bit and have a few differences, and obviously are cheap and don't hold together well. Still , the aesthetic is actually amazing, and frankly I wish Strafe did the split head thing rather than having two heads
I actually really like the design of the Dino modes. The over sized features are kool. That blue robot mode is sick. Love the sharp agile look of it.To bad it doesn’t lock in anywhere!
its almost as if he doesnt mess with these toys for even a second before putting them in front of a camera. like isnt this kind of review supposed to show off the items accurately and fairly?
Fun fact: These toys are from a Chinese cartoon movie called Dragon Force 2: Return of Ultraman. Right now the company's getting sued for using the Ultraman character without permission.
The part on top of the stegosaurus is actually supposed to be it's tail; it's supposed to be in more of a "crunch" pose to hide the pretty naked back. I only know this because I came across this set on Taobao, though! Even some of the sellers there mistransformed them, my fave was the pterodactyl mode where they just snapped the ptero head into place and didn't change anything else about it, ha ha.
@@Kiddiecraft I was actually noticing that as he was transforming it and that one blue Pteranodon actually does kind of transform the same way strafe does
Don't know if he ever checks this, but the Stego's legs DO extend and the shoulder "guns" plug into holes in his knees, making an awesome stego mode. Still no clue why the tail opens or Trex's sword transforms. Also, a card that came with these DOES show a combined mode with Swoop and the Tricera becoming the arms. Probably a different, non-transforming version of this toy planned. I also totally overlooked that these transformations are the same as the AOE figures. Crazy.
@Baltmatrix, I just saw on a channel called Toyspace, there is a set of these that do combine, but they are only alt mode and combination, no individual robot modes.
Finally I got T-Rex and Ptera (V1). Luckely articulations are great, body and face very well painted. I'm waiting for V2 of the Tricera, Stego and Raptor :D
The pterasaur looks like it could potentially do the "walking on all fours" pose that most paleontologists think they used to get around on land, maybe that's why it's sort of awkward?
Green, white, and red seem alright. Might get those three so I can Frankenstein white and red together to make something better. And maybe take off the kibble from green
The white Stegosaurus looks like it cold be modified into a white tiger zord. With a bit of modifications that is. How ever the robot mode would stay as is it looks sweet I think.
Personally, I think these were intended to be regular action figures, but were then redesigned at the last minute to be able to transform. The yellow and blue ones especially look like they were preexisting toys that had some joints modified and dinosaur bits slapped on.
I remember seeing them randomly in clothes store when I was in russia around 3 years ago, they were pretty cheap and only after some staring I've realized that they basically bootlegs of aoe dinobots lol. Didn't get any, wanted a scorn but haven't found him, and haven't found any reviews on RUclips and now this video gets recommended to me, and there ere my like already, so I guess I have an alzheimer
It's like they couldn't decide if they were gonna knock-off the AoE Dinobots or some Gundam action figures, so they did both and didn't fully succeed at neither
All the transformations remind me of the age of extinction dinobots, just not as good but the paint looks great. Good video! I found these guys on aliexpress and was thinking of getting them. Glad I watched your video. I'm not tempted now. Thanks for saving me buyers regret.
The T-Rex is an A B S O L U T E U N I T. In awe at the size of that lad.
I love these "balt buys from Sirtoys" episodes ... because it's always fun to hear how the cheapness keeps being a surprise

The raptor looks like a simplified AoE Scorn.
The transformation that he has seen before - 6:40 -is dinosaur megatron but I’ve never seen the sniper - 14:55 -before

This looks like an anime I would love to watch.
Saaaaame
*squats down and holds out his arms while twisting at the waist* "Hey guys, check out my raptor mode!"
Good
they're pretty cool it goes well together
"Me Grimlock now Red Ranger!"
Me white ranger

6:47 megatron like yess XD
I’m just imagining Stego and Rex constantly butting hears about who should be leader and then the raptor calms everything down
Pretty sure the Stego is a lot mistransformed. The tail is on his back wth? The legs look like they can collapse too no?
ΔĿZΞΔL07 yeah I was thinking the same thing
same. it looked like it was halfway transfromed and left like that.
its almost as if he doesnt mess with these toys for even a second before putting them in front of a camera. like isnt this kind of review supposed to show off the items accurately and fairly?
Doctor Tophat did he ever
I think he just SLOW
I never owned beast wars megatron, but it's like scorn from AoE. All of these remind me of past transformations. Still fun looking to me.
The raptor transforms almost identically to Scorn, but just looks like a surfing robot in raptor mode.
The few things that make me happy, Vids from Baltmatrix.
With the Stego it pretty much feels as if that tail should come off to be a shield for the robot.
Let's see if you're right... I unscrewed the figure and no, tail does not detach. Stripped 2 screws, color me unsurprised.
@@seoultron4581 Dangit, that sucks. Really limited designs then. :/
The T-rex transforms like Grimlock, the V-raptor transforms like BW Megatron

Go go Dino Rangers!
Sorry, couldn't resist it. :^)
Yellow Dino Ranger got a sickness perhaps?
Dino rangers roar?
+Jeremiah Fuentes
yup
Power rangers score
Same
The transformation of the red ranger T. Rex sort of reminds me of Transform a studio series Grimmlock

Are these ko versions of The AOE Dinobots ?
Appears that way
D.R.D Productions yes they are
Same skeletical structure
The red one has the same transformation as Movie Voyager Grimlock. I know this because I have that mold from the Last Knight.
@@Kiddiecraft I was actually noticing that as he was transforming it and that one blue Pteranodon actually does kind of transform the same way strafe does
Sucks that they don’t combine...
Breckin Armstrong yeah
I wish
Comes with a card that DOES show a combined mode, though...

Go Go Dino Ranger!!!
Sorry i could't resist.. 😂😂
You know why the yellow raptor transformation is familiar?
It's the dino thunder red ranger T-Rex transformation 😂😂😂
i was thinkin OG beastwars megatron
Baltmatrix these 5 figures can actually combine into one robot
The yellow raptor's transformation reminds me of the red t-rex in dino rangers
The trex guy reminds me of a certain metalic orange bipedal beast man?🤔
Maybe its just me.
@Baltmatrix, I just saw on a channel called Toyspace, there is a set of these that do combine, but they are only alt mode and combination, no individual robot modes.

This would have made a fantastic combiner
I shudder to think how they would be combined and what the final robot would look like.
A card these toys come with shows ptera and tricera as arms and a combined sword. Also, Ultraman comes with these for some reason.
That raptor is beast wars Megatron + Cheetor
That raptor is a Skeksis from the dark crystal XD
Good point
They look pretty cool
I love it when a team of transforming robots doesn't combine. Makes the individual figures better
Thanks, I had my eye on these for scratch building. It's great that they're between voyager and leader.
So they use the aoe transformation skeleton
Michael O'Sullivan yep
Yeah, I own the Trex and Stego and I didn't really notice until I figured out how to transform the stego.
the Triceratops also has an Infinity Gauntlet, i guess he's the most OP in the team.
So we're not going to notice the fact that they used the Skeletons from the AOE Dinobots-
Bumblebee: I’m now a different form
I can see they're very gundamish inspired. Especially the weapons
Combined form is now on sirtoys!
I think they do combine! I just checked the website and it shows they do!
The yellow raptor looks like he transforms like deluxe class scorn
The white Stegosaurus looks like it cold be modified into a white tiger zord. With a bit of modifications that is. How ever the robot mode would stay as is it looks sweet I think.
Personally, I think these were intended to be regular action figures, but were then redesigned at the last minute to be able to transform. The yellow and blue ones especially look like they were preexisting toys that had some joints modified and dinosaur bits slapped on.
When you see the stego's ACTUAL alt mode, you might change your mind. It looks REALLY good.
I think Ive seen that transformation before too, yeeeeesss
Yellow velociraptor looks like he's done training with wii fit trainer but having a cramp.
Yellow Raptor: guys! Trust me, I'm a dinosaur!
Look. See? Anyone?
A Gundam Exia reference. Was not expecting that when I clicked on this video.
The white one is SO sick!!!
Yeah the trex looks cool
Now we need a black spinosaurus
The first t-Rex has the exact transformation as one of the age of extinction deluxe grim locks
pretty sure the yellow raptor is also mistransformed. the waist swivel that far so that the upper leg can be closer to the tail.
If there wasn't any dino parts on it they would be some cool looking figures
Still cool nonetheless
It's like they couldn't decide if they were gonna knock-off the AoE Dinobots or some Gundam action figures, so they did both and didn't fully succeed at neither
t-rex:cool!
raptor:oh god kill it with fire!!!
red grimlock buddy has a gundam exia sword red skins btw.
Is it just me or do these figures have a very similar transformation to the Age Of Extinction Dinobots
I like his giant Infinity gauntlet-like fist :)
The yellow one transforms like dinobot scorn
The transformation of the yellow raptor reminds me of dino thunder red ranger's zord.
With the yellow raptor, the transformers prime star scream figure looks better in his alt mode, and I owned one.
I love there chest sculpt.
Haven't watched this dude in a few years.
Take off the dino parts, and they look like awesome mecha-anime styled robots.
DredgeX97 but why not... transforming dinosaur mecha-anime styled robots?

I like the t-rex the beast. It has that anime mecha aesthetic that I dig.
All 5 Dinosaur Robots... reminds me of Zyuohger! 😆
Yellow velociraptor is AOE Scorn and the Trex has AOE voyager grimlock elements.
I think those black spike parts on the Stego Bot are supposed to be over the shoulder cannons.
Tiny turbos' Scorn transforms almost exactly as the Bumbleebee Raptor.
*hears them mention Gundam Exia*
Ah, a man of cultural as well
The velociraptor is in like the power rangers jungle fury
I think the shoulder things on the stegasaurus figure are supposed to be shoulder mounted guns
All the transformations remind me of the age of extinction dinobots, just not as good but the paint looks great. Good video! I found these guys on aliexpress and was thinking of getting them. Glad I watched your video. I'm not tempted now. Thanks for saving me buyers regret.
Pretty sure the tyrannosaur is more or less the exact same as some Grimlock toys.
They are all based on their respective age of extinction counterparts. Neat.
I want like high quality version of this concept.
Their is another version of these toys that can combine into a giant robot. But they can't transform into individual robot modes
Yellow Raptor reminds me of Transformers Beast Wars Megatron but with a jet BACKPACK
The fact that the T rex transformation is a exact copy of delux class Hasbro grimlock ...
That blue one is actually Strafe's baby brother
Edit: I own the AOE Strafe figure and that's a blatant copy of it
I think a combiner version will be coming out
Too bad these don't combine, at least they look cool
Neon Genesis Evangelion meets Gundam meets Dinobots
The ONLY ones I would get is the Triceratops, and the Stegosaurus!!:) In my opinion!
Those proportions tho 😳
The first couple had weird Gundam legs and then like transformer torsos. Weird combination of aesthetics.
I'd buy one of these if there was a spinosaurus robot
They actually do combine because you get another set and it does not transform but it combines Into a giant robot with a sword
the way it is assembled is similar to that of dino boots
It was from a dinosaur themed power ranger series
Cool set
I LOVE Sirtoys!
These are based off of the AOE Dinobot molds, fyi. It's really obvious with the yellow being Scorn.
