Kongor is just STRAIGHT up Sun Wukong the Monkey King. The mind-staff coming out of the ear is just STRAIGHT UP how Sun Wukong pulls Ruyi Jingu Bang (his staff) out.

@@shenshoujingang7239 hardly knockoff they two separate ideas - these form a Mecha all together. The Raptors from Rysoul/Dino Fury are just armour pieces
If it's the fire and ice dragons I'm thinking of then you will love it. They are like the Sabertooth Tiger and Dire Wolf from Biklonz mixed with the Cosmic Raptor from Ryusoulger because of the forms.
11:51 ooohhh i see what they're going for with the gorilla bot. they're basing him off sun wukong. even has the same gold headband and gold banded cudgel as the famous monkey king.
Good job telling us the gist of the show behind the toys. With 5 toys to sell across presumably 52 episodes, the appearances gotta be spread thin. IIRC the Super Stones are not-toy actual gemstones and time-traveling MacGuffins, but since the term Pendex isn't really mentioned, I get the mix-up. I would have dismissed this toyline as another short-lived standalone Geo Mecha or Monkart if it wasn't a sequel to Metalions, the repurposed Biklonz.
The "Mind staff" is based on the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, who hides his staff weapon in his ear canal. Goku from Dragonball uses it, called "Power Pole" in that show.
Honestly I absolutely love how Kongor changes from a gorilla into Sun Wukong! Sun Wukong is the monkey king and it just makes so much sense for the gorilla to become them. And as several people have already said the Mind Staff is an obvious reference to Sun Wukong's Ruyi Jingu Bang. In the show Kongor grabs it from the side of his head paralleling how in Journey to the West Sun Wukong stores the Ruyi Jingu Bang behind his ear when not in use and the fact that it has two sizes in the toy with both being able to be used at once parallels the Ruyi Jingu Bang's abilities of size manipulation and self-duplication. Kongor even has the golden headband that in Journey to the West is used to keep Sun Wukong in line(due to the monkey king being an extremely rebellious and chaotic character that at the start wouldn't listen to people's commands). Man I would love to watch this show if I ever can do so.
Any (branded) Chinese toys on Sirtoys are likely to also be on Ali Express. It's surprising the Korean Youngtoys launched the toys in China first, and the show in Chinese and English before any announcement of a Korean localization. It was a similar case with Metalions, launched first in China 2018, then a year later in Korea (and other countries) - met with low sales. (and backlash from Tobot and Biklonz story fans) But it's likely the all-new toys of 슈퍼 10 will be launched in 2022.
@@shastasdadstoysadventures2207 The Rekka Daizantou is the Japanese name for the Fire Smasher, the main weapon used by the Red Samurai Ranger in Power Rangers Samurai. Power Rangers Samurai is based on the Japanese series "Samurai Sentai Shinkenger".
I am loving the clear reference to son wukong with the blue mech....including the giant staff to beat the bad ideas out of people.. all of these are very nice though.
Watching you flip the arm out of the t-rex head on tyrannus....made me think of that thing in family guy, "they say there's no chin behind chuck norris' beard. there is only...another fist"
I'm sure I wouldn't like the cartoon, mostly for translation and animation reason, but I do love this gimmick of an hourglass as an aesthetic. I also love the designs of these characters, even if they don't really mesh together, i/e a gorrilla with a dinosaur.
They have a dedicated spot to store the weapon when in the animal mode. My biggest pet-peeve is transforming toys not having a spot to store the weapon when not in robot/warrior mode.
Whitehorn is definitley the nicest of them all and the one I actually went out of my way to purchase. Ingenious transformation, really cool altmode, very little kibble, and genius weapon integration. Considering Tyrannus, but red T-rex transformers are just so darn cliché.
Custom paint Rektor and you will have MMPR T-Rex comiding with the Dragonzord. Since one of the raptors has the dragonzord colors. Another awesome video.
Outstanding review once again, baltmatrix! 😃 These figures not only look gorgeous in both their Animal, and Robot Modes, but they all feel solid, have very enjoyable transformations to either of their modes, goofy but awesome weapons, interesting gimmicks, and can even merge all of their big weapons together (even if their small weapons don’t get used at all, aside from the T-Rex’s sword being stored inside its shield)! 👍 Man, I wish we got toys like this in the US again. 😆 I’m definitely gonna try, and hunt this set down if I can find it! 👌 Look forward to the dragon review! 👏
They look nice. But at mine opinion, there is one Transformers reference. And that is the way the red Tyrannosaurus transforms into his robot-mode. It's almost the same like that of Beast Wars Megatron or AoE Scorn.
I like how the raptors have the same name as two different raptors that have existed for a few years now slash from transformers and echo from Jurassic world
Whitehorn is an Alicorn, not a Unicorn. You can tell because of the very obvious wings sprouting from its back. Alicorns have both the wings of a Pegasus and the horn of a Unicorn(Think Princess Twilight Sparkle from MLP).
first is it weird that's exactly how i thought kongor transformed also i do believe he's a reference to journey to the west's son wukong who's staff ( that is also the basis of goku from dragon ball's old weapon the nyoibo ) could change sizes
Sunshine mine shaft looks like a cannon honestly I kind of hoped that would have been Academy cuz then it would have been more like Mason Cannon and sword and shield which would be very cool to see
Having just Binge watched all of the current episodes up on youtube thus far, I have to Echo KRbrickbot in saying that Super 10 is a Futuristic sequal to Metalions as Aiden the main kid is a direct relation to Elon the main Kid from Metalions and Sabretooth and Leo were in the first episode too and were sadly destroyed by Anadondas, yet they are referred to as Superions rather than Metalions anyway the link between the two shows is soon forgotten and this show becomes it's own, these toys are better articulated than the Biklonz repacks from Metalions but they all have that five spoked wheel motif on their limbs so there is a direct tie-in to all three shows
Awesome Review! I agree. Definitely great looking figures and well detailed and I love the colors and the stone gimic is a great touch too! I also agree with that whole weapon combo gimic is funny and stupid! lol. Other than that, Great job with the review and great line what I see. The first ive heard of these.
Kongor is just STRAIGHT up Sun Wukong the Monkey King.
The mind-staff coming out of the ear is just STRAIGHT UP how Sun Wukong pulls Ruyi Jingu Bang (his staff) out.
in additín to the fact that it has a bigger version of the staff (aka making it a true growing staff)
And it also has the golden sealing headband on its head in both modes.
I saw it two differently staight from monkey king i won't be surprised if he starts flying on a cloud or making clones of himself
Came here to pretty much the same thing saved me a job cheers 😊

And the other 5 robots it's called super 10 but we just see 4 of add dragonius

I gotta say I love the look of these figures.
My only concern is the gold plastic used throughout each one. Gives me Beast Wars Randy flashbacks.

especially it tail, but I think Tyrannus has better proportion

We really need more transforming Horse related figure either being a Unicorn, Pegasus, or just plain Horse... or a Donkey, I'll take the donkey.
For Tyrannus's robot mode, you left his superstone upside down.
Whitehorn has to be the most badass transforming robot with a horse altmode ever.
Mind shaft: for when you need go whack them
Big Boi: for when you need to BEAT THE IDEAS OF GOODNESS INTO THEM
Liking the “clips from the show” format
Remember my nephew loved this kinda big goofy robots
As a PR fan, these really remind me of Zords, honestly.
