I have many fond memories of flying on the 737-200 with Ryanair back in the day. Great machine.

Me too, although mainly on BA's big fleet of B732s -= almost every month on the Pisa route.
Also did this regularly on Britannia's B732s out of LGW

I flew regularly to Spain on early 737-200's, which I certainly wouldn't have done if I'd of known just how dangerous they were!

      They're not.

@@rynovoski The early ones most certainly were. It just took a few years and several hundred deaths to discover the cause.

@@phuketexplorer what are you referring to? The rudder thing? Even that as a percentage of passenger miles or whatever other metric was probably statistical noise, as far as how much danger there was to any person. Obviously known flaws like that should be eliminated, because one death is too many, but as far as it being unsafe?

@@rynovoski The 'Rudder thing' was the cause of three fatal crashes, not to metion accidents caused by the engines. Total fatalities amount to 5,779, with 529 accidents/losses. Google it!

Man, those windows are either filthy or scratched to hell...or both? Not the best view out. That said, it was still pretty cool to see a 737-200 in action.

Tu vídeo es fantástico... Lastima que :
Terrible , el estado de las ventanas
    De esos aviones
    Rayadas , borrosas, opacas
Un verdadero atraso de muchas decadas alargando el uso de estas aeronaves retrogradas y viejas
