Bigriggen Park Campground - Rathdowney, Queensland

Bigriggen Park is situated in the Scenic Rim between Boonah and Rathdowney in the foothills of the Scenic Rim’s Mount Maroon, with Mount Barney and Mount Lindesay nearby. It’s just 90 minutes from Brisbane or the Gold Coast. The sites are large and spacious and most are un-designated. There are 30 new powered campsites which are also very large. Showers are coin operated and cost $1 for 5 minutes. The Logan river runs through the area and there are lots of areas to take a dip.
The kiosk is open for sale of snacks and drinks and you can also buy firewood or swap your gas bottle. There are fire pits strewn throughout the sites.
Pets are welcome however must be approved prior to camping.

ALL ABOUT TOYS!! It’s a great spot, unfortunately a hail storm came and destroyed our tent. We didn’t even stay a single night. We will be back though.

Forged -Ez hey, we bought a new tent and gave it another crack back on the 30th May. We went for three nights and had a blast! This place is excellent! My wife and kids are all excited to go camping again in September.

Forged -Ez we had an unpowered site, but next time we are going powered. Both times we’ve driven in we’ve gone to the left after the gate. But there’s tonnes of locations, and the trees create a natural boundary - it makes it feel like your own private location. However, we did go in off peak.

Hi, unfortunately there are no 4wd tracks within the Bigriggen Campground. There are plenty of nice drives nearby though.
