  • In this video I install a 4m x 3m grey aluminium pergola with opening roof.
    I bought this from the gardening section at our local supermarket.
    I hope you find this video useful.

    These actually need to be on a floor that is NOT dead level - or the built in draining will not work properly . Also recommended to place the crack handle according to where the sun rises in your location so the louvres follow the direction of the sun when rotated.

      Great advice as most patios drain away from the house 👍

    Hello.
    Great video.
    Having recently bought a nova shadow 2.4 x 3m pergola, i have today started to put it up.
    It is maybe a newer version of yours?
    Everything seemed to be going smoothly, and once i got the frame assembled, i started to put together the louvers.
    I put up the one that is connected to the crank, then the other 14 louvres.
    At this point, the manual says to use the crank to open the louvres to attach flat bars to both ends, however the crank only opens the first louvre i put up and the rest dont move from a closed position.
    Its confused me as i wouldnt have expected the crank to be able to open all louvres at this stage.
    Have i installed the louvre connected to the crank incorrectly?
    Any help much appreciated.
    Thanks

      @ajinfrance  Месяц назад

      @@jonesy619 it only opens the first Louvre but all louvres are connected together. You are missing a link I think

    • @jonesy619
      @jonesy619 Месяц назад

      Thanks for reply.
      Can’t be missing a link as followed it exactly to the manual and up to stage 11,
      It just then says open the louvres with the crank, and attach a flat bar either side and screw in, before sliding two clips over the crank louvre.
      Now, when I am trying to open with the crank, none are opening and I can’t seem the work out where I’ve gone wrong.
      So frustrating…

    Love the pergola! I have one very similar that is 3x3(m) over our hot tub. In white which in hindsight was probably a mistake, could have opted for a darker colour. Being England I'm sure we get a lot more rain than you do but any over time will build up dirt and residue. My question is do you have any advice or tips to help/ aid the cleaning of a pergola such as this particularly the slats. All the best.

      Hi, thanks for watching. No not in this location. I sometimes open the louvres a small amount which lets any warmer air trapped out without letting sun in. I have recently also fitted blinds to the garden side which we use at meal times.
