Hello Margaret. Just love your channel and the guidance you provide for seniors with Osteoporosis and compression fractures. I have started your “exercise for better bones” and have a question: I’m in the athletic level with Frax scores of 31% and hip score of 13%. Please guide me to the proper fracture risk category for cardiovascular exercise I should be in. Low, moderate or high. In your opinion of course. Thank you!

Hi Vicky. Thank for purchasing my book. I explain how to determine your fracture risk and level in the book, Exercise for Better Bones. See chapter 2. In Chapter 8 I organized the weight bearing by fracture risk. Thanks.

Hello Margaret. Thank you for this good advice on how to get started this year. I swim to keep fit but have been out of action for a few months recovering from surgery. However, I have now got back into the pool and will begin this new year with an achievable target. Best wishes for this new year.

Thank you . I have sciatica and two surgeries so far and was told by my cardiologist to work through the pain. Any suggestions?

My recommendation is that you consult with a Physical Therapist familiar with sciatica issues. Thank you.

Hi Margaret, do you have a band workout? I want to build strength but can’t hold more than 5 pounds.
