Yes it's very possible, and at times it's possible to transfer the backlights also . But it's not necessary or compulsory. You can replace a none backlights keyboard to a backlights keyboard

Yes only by heating or if you have a heat gun, you can use it to glue the keyboard back, but always good using the soldering iron to heat it
