They should’ve watched the one where a little boy was in a boxing or martial arts class, he was blindfolded and he didn’t realize it was his father. He heard his voice, the boy ripped off the blindfold, saw him, and immediately hugged him. It was so sweet.
It's very dangerous to pair Minji and Chacha together in the same video. Mega cuteness and maximum coolness warnings are in full effect. Watch at your own peril.
This is so heartfelt 🥺 Makes me proud of soldiers who have already gone through extreme lenghths just to provide service and protection for their own nations/countries.
@Sonia Sutaria Reading your comment right after reading an article about Abu Gharib torture scandal US soldiers were involved in in Iraq is just so ironic.... Btw they're now free and some even back on duty... Wouldn't recommend checking the leaked pics from there cuz they're so graphic...

These always get me crying, so many people in my family, my dad and one of my brothers included, are veterans and every time I saw them come home I couldn't contain my joy. Being away from them was so hard, but the pride I feel getting to say that I have a long military lineage will never go away despite the pain I felt being away from them.
Seeing the guy's reaction to this would have been fun and hit home since they have mandatory service in Korea. Would be interested to see more with both guys and girls
Very powerful video, and a reminder that compassion is global and delineates us as humans. The "Burst of Joy" photo always touches my heart. As a side note, MJ is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. A blessing!
I remembered this happened years ago to one of my classmates. I think we were in either third or fourth grade in the cafeteria eating lunch, then suddenly the middle schoolers (who were the oldest students at the school) started standing up whooping and hollering and clapping loudly. I was so confused, and looking to see what was happening. Then I saw a man who was wearing a military uniform, and I started standing up and clapping like the rest because thank you for serving our country man :)))). And then he was half way up to our table when my classmate (for privacy reasons, lets call her Abigail) goes OMG. She gets us immediately and starts speeding to the guy, jumps up, and hugs him. Everyone starts shouting and congratulating them. Honestly, that was so wholesome, and I'm sure it made EVERYBODY'S day when they saw them. I hope they're doing fine rn
It's hardest seeing the kid's reactions. They're told they must be brave and that they will see their loved one again, even if they're scared it might not be true. You can see all the stress and fear flood out of them when they finally know it's okay.
I remember the first time I was able to take leave and go home to visit my family. Never cried so hard in my life. Thank you for showing them these videos. It is truly a blessing to be able to come home and visit family whenever we can even though it’s difficult and not very often. The holidays that we have to spend alone and away from family are truly the hardest.
My dad was in the Navy for 25 YEARS so from the moment I was born I didn’t have my dad 6 months out of the year unless we moved to another country for deployment. We lived in Puerto Rico for 3 years and Naples Italy for 3 years! My dad has sacrificed so much for his country and our family and he will always be my hero!
Wait can we get a part two? I love these ! The one with the brother at graduation this year was great, the one with the kid boxing his dad and recognizing his voice ! Omg so many
When I was in the Navy, I did this to my sister. My mom and I drove to her dorm in college and had the RA's tell her to come downstairs because something happened to her car. We ended up waiting a bit because she had a panic attack and needed to calm down first. Everyone who saw me in uniform immediately knew what was happening and got their phones out to film it. When she finally came downstairs and saw me, she immediately collapsed in relief, and then ran over to hug me. It was great
Thank you, and your Son for the sacrifices you both have made for my freedom. I would have caught for my own but I didn’t have the guts, I’m thankful for men like your Son.
All of these kinds of videos are tear-jerkers. My husband was deployed for a year and its the best feeling in the world to be able to take your loved one in your arms and hold them again.
I distinctly remember this one video with a toddler-aged little girl.. She exclaimed "Daddyyyy!!" In such a high and happy tone.. it gets me every time ;-;
My dad was deployed for almost a year when I was in the third grade. I remember when he surprised me during a computer basics class, I ran up to him and didn’t stop crying telling him not to go away again until we had gotten home.
I remember my father coming home from deployment in Korea, looking through the little window in the door and me asking my mother if that was my daddy and her scream of joy.
My sis and talked the difference between American soldiers and S. Korean soldiers, I asked why don't I ever see "Soldiers Coming Home Suprises" in S. Korea, my sis said and I quote "It's just in America we value our soldiers." She told me about the whole mandatory enlistment then I started to realize that to guys it's like going to school, but in America if you have parents that are in or were in the military you get a lot of privileges. In America to go into the military is because you want to(I mean some people go in for other reasons.) But at the end of the day we always thank soldiers for their service. Idk S. Korea is way too respectful that guys consider it an honor regardless.
In SK all soldier leaves are scheduled too. They get regular, fairly frequent vacation periods to go home, and they're not overseas, their families know where their base is. There's no surprises.
In the States the sell being in the army as something desirable. Half of US' taxes go to military spending. Meanwhile, they don't have universal healthcare. #priorities
Getting the kids to cry..SUPER EASY. Getting mom to cry..EASY. Now you can crack the emotionally diamond tough dad... Now that is an accomplishment and too painful not to tear up.
Why am I watching this in my kitchen while cooking as if I’m not sensitive to this stuff ☠️☠️ this had me out here on a sunny summer afternoon cooking some good food and ready to cry my eyes out
Honestly soldiers come home to pets is so much more heartwarming to me... Our lovely pets so often just about die of happiness when we return from being away for so long. Kids are nearly as happy I will say that but by the time they have matured enough to have that kind of reaction all to often we, in the US at least, have kind of suppressed their emotions or have shown them that strong emotions do not belong anywhere.
Any time a soldier surprises a family member in a restaurant, no one cares if the family getting surprised is loud. Heck the other people in the restaurant will usually stand up, clap, and cheer!
Hi. I was in the Navy 86/91 and my husband, retired 86/2011 and was stationed in S Korea! But as a female, tell your sister this, Valor knows no gender! I went to University after the Navy and The Veterans Affairs paid all of my tuition etc. While your sister is in basic, write her letters, cards etc. Real mail is the best! Tell your sister that she will be a member of a very elite group. There are 23 million male veterans and just over 1.4 million female veterans. Not everyone has the strength to make it through just bootcamp! Keep encouraging her to fulfill her contract, get an education, travel etc. Serve with honor! God bless America 🇺🇸, you , your family and sister!
@@1stltwife Thank you so much for sharing your story, my little sister is really smart and plans on attending college through the military since we don't come from much money. She is working really hard to succeed in life and as a woman she is trying 10 times harder, I am insanely proud of my little sister. I hope that she will be able to travel the world and learn more than and experience more in life than what I may only hope to see and experience. Thank you for your service and bravery!
As you watch this video, soldiers coming back home after their deployment. I realised that some of them came back in a casket after deployment. I realised that some of this soldier coming back home are witnessing their colleuges died in front of them before they ever got home. It just ao tragic.
This kinda thing alwaya gets me! My dad is in the military and i was no more than 6 or 7 years old and my mom and I got a call saying that he has been MIA it was the absolute scariest thing too hear.
I came home after completing Basic Training, or Boot Camp, and at the airport my youngest brother was wearing military style uniform. Me being in the Army was one of the things he used to brag about at school.
It's funny how many of the people look first at the clothes, and don't recognize the person -- because they're more used to seeing and thinking of them in civilian clothing, and recognize the uniform before registering the face in their mind. But the dogs recognized them instantly...maybe because they don't attach the same importance to clothing styles, or because they recognize their scent.
This was uploaded on my birthday... Darn it I'm remembering when my dad went overseas after 9/11, and had to leave me, my sister, and my pregnant mother behind for a whole year. That year was stressful; the house was under construction, we found my sister (1yr old turning 2 in '02) could not walk without therapy, my grandmother (mother's mother) passed, and my brother was born during that time. What I remember most is praying fervently for him to come home safe, and hearing my mother crying day and night. I didn't get to spend my 3rd Christmas or 4th birthday with him. I focused on helping my mother, because I could tell she needed it, and I didn't want to be a burden.
I'm currently serving in the Korean Air Force, so it would be nice if my family and other people would greet me like that video when I come out on vacation.(I haven't been on vacation because of the coronavirus.😂)
Most of these aren't troops coming home on vacation, most are troops coming home from deployment. Normally troops live with family, it's when they're sent overseas that they become separated for extended periods of time.

I’ve seen that video it’s so cuteeee
That’s what I was thinking too
Right! I was waiting for that one too!
this compilations of soldier coming home always makes me cry, it's literally not possible to watch without crying it's always so sad and moving :(
IKKKKKK :’[
The sad thing is it's really hard for me to cry.
Dang, I was already on the brink of crying today and y'all had to hand me the last straw
@MEDINA CIARA that's so sweet of you! My day is certainly better now 😊
Mate, i don't know what is your problem and how is your circumstance. But, I hope you get better each day and God Bless You! Cheers mate!

Afghanistan is 10,000 miles away pretty sure its not for domestic security
WTF?!
@Sonia Sutaria
Reading your comment right after reading an article about Abu Gharib torture scandal US soldiers were involved in in Iraq is just so ironic.... Btw they're now free and some even back on duty...
Wouldn't recommend checking the leaked pics from there cuz they're so graphic...
@Roy King and you cant explain, what a kid
@Roy King Trump would agree with me btw, so you believe war in iraq was a good move. and the fact you have to call people twelve for no reason shows you attitude.
The girls are always so pretty
Yes, I was going to say the same
“ I have so much respect for vets”
“ would u like to join “
“ of course not are u crazy ? “

A good tear jerker for them to react is Colorblind people seeing colors for the first time!
Seeing the guy's reaction to this would have been fun and hit home since they have mandatory service in Korea.
Would be interested to see more with both guys and girls
I could easily fall in love with MJ. She's so honest emotionally watching these videos. Warms my heart and makes me cry at the same time.
I could fall in love with any of them
"A dog cannot control its happiness." -- Probably the most sweetest thing I've ever heard another human being say. Thank you!
It's going to be a very moving reaction I think 🥺
Very powerful video, and a reminder that compassion is global and delineates us as humans. The "Burst of Joy" photo always touches my heart. As a side note, MJ is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. A blessing!
I just love how we can all relate to each other, no matter where we’re from. We’re all human, and at the core, have the same love of each other
One of your best videos. Too many great moments to mention from the reactors. Wow, Cha Cha actually on the verge of tears? Super rare!
“I want to see my dad” “hmm not me” 😂
Definitely the nice and emotional kind of surprise! So much good vibes here 🙌💯

I need a video that's just these girls reacting to wholesome dog videos (especially rescue dog videos!)
I watch these videos every time I feel like there is no good in the world. Then after watching it it restores my faith in humanity

Korean soldiers aren't really stationed in any war zones like US soldiers so it's not that big of a risk involved.
Getting the kids to cry..SUPER EASY. Getting mom to cry..EASY. Now you can crack the emotionally diamond tough dad... Now that is an accomplishment and too painful not to tear up.

There is a saying that a true soldier doesn't fight because he hates what's in front of him but because he loves what's behind him.
I woke up, went downstairs and my dad was eating cereal...that was my welcome home moment lol
Honestly soldiers come home to pets is so much more heartwarming to me... Our lovely pets so often just about die of happiness when we return from being away for so long. I don’t know if I’m crying cause it’s happy tears from seeing family getting together or because I have been yawning to much cause it’s 2am
