Had our Harbinger delivered in May. Michael and the Weathered Dragon team were top-notch pros and very accommodating during every step of the process. We couldn't be happier!
I bought a full Amish shed to house ask my gaming stuff. It's my very own dedicated game room, when i have a table like this in it i will consider it complete.
That table is literally fantastic. The recessed dm section, the outlets, cup holders, etc. show they clearly put a lot of thought into the design. But, having said that, the price is equally breathtaking. You would really need to be dedicated to be willing to pay that much.
Fantastic tables! Looking forward to PDM making his own “UGT” - ultimate gaming table- that’s going to be a lot of pink foam insulation from a big box store
The lowered gamemaster section is excellent when using a screen as it will not hinder the gm's view as much. I am 6'4" and still have trouble seeing the miniatures when in use while sitting. Thanks for showing this. I walked right by this booth and made a note to check them out but never got back to them. It's good to have competition against Wyrmwood and this gives me ideas to make my own table in the future! Hope to see you at Pax Unplugged!
Wyrmwood is insanely overpriced. As a hobbyist artisanal woodworker, many of their products can be made in a very short period of time with very little expertise using basic tools, relative to what their fees insinuate.
So I have to humbly disagree. I am a professional fine woodworker and had a woodworking business. The prices on both this company and wormwood are fair. Not many people have the skills as a woodworker since only old men study the craft and they are passing away. Please don't think I am attacking you. Have a blessed day my friend.
3:30 - one of the problems with many of these custom gaming tables is how they tend to separate and create barriers between players. This one seems all right. 3:45 - adding atmospheric lighting options would be neato; DM can trigger red lighting, flickering blue lighting, etc. depending on mood. Thanks Prof. DM.
After getting my new job, I have finally had the freedom to set aside a comfortable budget for a gaming table. I was looking around on my own but I didn't have enough time to really get a good idea, too many choices on the internet. Thank you for showcasing this, Dungeon Craft. I may have found my new table. Hopefully they can do custom chair designs for the height of this table.
I agree. I've been actively setting aside money for a high-quality gaming table. This is now a feature I will weight very heavily when considering my purchase. I hadn't heard of The Weathered Dragon before. Very nice work!
Make your own table, source used wood, palletes or the cheap wood that sits outside homestores you can do a lot with spare wood, glue n a few screws. I thrift nearly everything the world is full of unwanted excess just gotta find it.
@@INCIESSE Agreed. Everyone throws wood pallets out, they can be repurposed into almost anything if you have some basic patience and a tiny bit of know how. I made my wife a desk that drops down from the wall and it actually looks really nice. If you can make terrain, you can make a table!! 😁

@@DUNGEONCRAFT1 True, but I want a sweet gamer dungeon, man. An entire basement dedicated to all my fantastical nerdy stuff... 🎵Dream the impossible dream...🎵
Thanks for the disclaimer. 😏 This is a bad-ass table. I first saw this at GenCon last year, and was really impressed by all the features, accessories, and customization you can get. I also have to agree with others that the price point makes it inaccessible to the majority of people. On the other hand, the popularity of items like this will inspire other companies to make versions with lower more accessible pricing. One tid bit that Mike didn't mention in your video, is that last year's version had a solid one piece top which weighed nearly 250 pounds by itself. That made shipping really difficult. So this year, the top now separates into 4 pieces so it's easier to relocate.
that's cool, let's ask mS. Professor DM if she want to change the marble table on the "dinning room" (every one here knows that's the gaming room) for this marvel of table
I built one of these several years ago and it worked alright, but in the end it was just a table that you played on, when playing who cared how fancy it was. But now I am working on my next one, it will be round with a submerged 3 foot center, where my, thanks to PDM, ultimate dungeon terrain pieces will go. I have made all my UDT 3 feet in diameter, I know that sounds too big but on a 5' round table it works out fine.
I found on aliexspress a frame that go's on any screen and turns it into a touch screen. I bought a 48 inch one. Put that on the table and a projector up above and you have a touch screen gaming table :)
That's an awesome table Should check them out to see how they would do a table for Wargaming (I think the standard sized layout for 2k pts in Age of Sigmar and 40k may be slightly bigger than the play area for the table shown here)
It looks neat and has a lot of cool features, but I would think it would be a little difficult to reach into the middle of the board to move miniatures, counters, etc.
I wish I could get one of these tables. I've been looking at other options that I could build myself over at my Dad's workspace (with lots of help from him).
My problem is that I'd need a new house. If I could go back in time, I would have picked a home with at least one large room conducive to something like this, but my current living room is long and too narrow for a big table and the seating for big gamers.
The tables are beautiful however the cost of the gaming tables I've seen are so prohibitive. I don't know a single person that owns one. Honestly, I suspect that it deters some people from the hobby altogether.
@@UnwalledGarden I should've been more clear in my original comment. I intended to say that I suspect it may deter some newer interests in the hobby altogether. Thank you for your reply.
I understand. I was saying I don't think it should or does deter new people. No one exploring the hobby thinks you need a $20 starter set AND a $7,000 custom gaming table to get into the game. Sure, like all hobbies, there are ranges of things you can purchase. The nice part about TTRPG is you can enjoy the hobby on all parts of the range. I'm sure the same noobs also understand that you can make do with the dice set from the starter box and don't need gemstone dice and a $200 hand carved dice tray to play the game.
Interesting table, hate the corner pillars and lantern lights. Overall looks nice, but just not practical. At 6x6, the room would need to be 10x10 just to get people sitting down without any other furniture or room to easily move behind the players. 12x12 room would be the minimum I would put this in and it would still be claustrophobic. It also would keep the room for being used for almost everything else. $7000 starting price. Better get one quick because I can't see the demand supporting the business for long.
Lovely table! I'm hoping to have one made one day that allows for a TV monitor for dynamic mapping mounted for the playing surface. My only complaint of this table is that the tengwar does not say what he says it does. In fact, it is nonsense, with no vowels at all. My suspicion is that they just used the elvish font on the PC, which does not correspond with the actual sounds of the tengwar. I guess I'm a pedantic elf. Still, beautiful table!
Those lamps are cool and set the piece off. I found some led lamps that did that and they are really cool. Nice immersive table but not really a kitchen table. Sadly I need a table that can do double duty due to limited space :(
On today's episode of "Things You'll Love But Never Afford..." Pretty cool, though I don't have anywhere I could put it. Or a gaming group, since I moved. Still, it's neat to see what's out there.
Well thought out feature designs for the table. The wider player decks, power, drink holders, sized for typical products like battle maps. Those corner posts were screaming to be dice rolling towers, generous port on each side facing the worried players to feed their big sweaty fistful of dice, and a results tray at the bottom. Need to move the drink holders though. Encourage them to sell the message for 'local exotic' lumber not mahogany or any other imported fragile ecosystem rain forest wood. Poplar machines easy and can look great, I've built guitars with it and have a couple of antique chairs made from it. Many other local wood choices out there if he looks. Perhaps he matches up with one of the youtube band saw stump millers (cremora?) for youtube marketing and wood supply. Lastly, he may want to verify copyright infringement entanglements for the dragon logo (that looks really familiar, like TSR artwork) and the Tolkein scripts.
That lowered area is the problem. It limits game space to the pit and it's more difficult for everyone to get in there. I like to use a battle map or tiles and terrain I've made to map out the area. a regular table is better.
I'm a little rusty on my elvish, but to my eyes, the tengwar in that DM area actually say "ngrhschswng echmfvgh mmhw mmofsv chhwhwhl thrdh" (in the mode of berliand) I'm guessing they they just typed the English text into an elvish font that wasn't mapped to English phonetics.
