Watched a review on this yesterday and it breaks easily and barely holds zero. It could’ve been a lemon, but they used both the red dot and green dot version. I’m sure they’re gonna need to work some issues out w this particular optic.
Very true. People gripe about shitty Chinese products but it’s not their fault, it’s the people employing them who give the “ok” for subpar materials and standards in order to make a quick buck. There are plenty of high quality Chinese factories.
It's junk, just avoid it. I would push back on the Holosun comparison because Olight doesn't have the impressive track record of holosun. Deskpop was able to cause one to fail by tapping it with a Glock mag. As for their lights, they are sub par as well.
At 1st glance it will be awesome as a competition optic but actual edc or duty use nah...i seen a video where the guy just hit it with an empty mag and it lost zero every time... he dropped a rock on it from not even a foot off the ground and it smashed badly
love the charging concept. this may not be your gucci red dot, but look forward to seeing a follow-up on reliability. never had issues with my olights and like the brand.
@@Stribogboi haha okay bud! It was mostly my fault for thinking they are duty rated which they aren’t and none of their products are. The Arizona desert can be brutal but I’ve never had a surefire fail on me while tracking a group of smugglers. To each their own.
Do you need to take the sight off the gun to charge it? Or cloud you slide that case over the optic while its on the gun??? It looks pretty flush when you put it in the charging case and that could be a problem
I predict that the charging magnet on top will be the Achilles' Heel for this optic. Too many bangs and scratches and it will be unable to charge, rendering it useless.
Wouldn't the charging cover interfere with front or rear iron sights? Or do they expect you to take the optic off, drop it in the case and then re-mount?

Just picked one up Olight had a sale. Reminds me of Halosuns 507 comp. Well c how it holds up.
I like the rechargeability, but my worry is, will the battery eventually not be able to hold full charge and if so, how do you replace it?
