Yes, Lurkers are overpowered and i love it. especially when the Terran runs their army of mass marines up my ramp during 2v2 matches and proceeds to lose everything.

yes in 2v2 stimless marine rush is the meta. More marines are made in 2v2 than anything else (except maybe 4v4).
I dont play starcraft and just watch it but i think a great change would be if you can not cancel or salvage a building while it is under attack, for example received damge in last 5 seconds. Watched alot of games and seen terrans abuse this so often for zero risk and practically zero cost, not sure about others it just seems a little gimmiky and unfair to me to just watch them canncel a building just before its destroyed for almost a full refund. Or you could make it so that the amount of money refunded is related to the remaining hp of the building ie 10%hp 10%refund 80%hp 80%refund.
Triple nydus in a column like that is how I play Kerrigan in co-op.

Until 2019, all my SC 2 Terran wins required fewer than 5 actions.

Question: Would a tech switch with some libs/bcs in the mix have have helped or would hero have succumbed to mid game pressure?
ghost was the right call. Libs can be dragged out of siege just like tanks.

People don't realise that 'overpowered' doesn't equal 'unbeatable'. Ofcourse there are always overpowered units even if slightly, that's why there has always been balance patches. No game can make perfect unit balance especially with very different factions.

To answer the title, yes.
An invisible unit shouldn't be that powerful when you can actually see them. I'll have six colossi with vision of the lurkers and the fight is no better than even. Anything less than that and I lose badly.
Their free units are too powerful as well. A decent number of real units should always wipe the floor against free units. Those should be for harassment or a small buff to a big fight.
Just out of curiosity, why is there an age restriction on tournaments? If you're good at the game, you're good.

Mostly to protect kids. Child labor laws factor as well, plus there are unscrupulous people who will prey on them, scamming agents, thieving managers, fake teams who will steal your earnings. Always have a lawyer read your contract before you sign anything.

ok ok so Starcraft 2 was rated "T For Teen" or whatever. Still I'm not joking when I say Innovation was playing starcraft when he was in diapers.
As a Terran main, I have such mixed feeling when regarding Lurkers. Especially since I play bio.
On one hand, they are rather high tech so it takes a while before Zerg can field them. On the other hand, once they're out, they're better than siege tank in all ways that matters, except maybe range. They burrow, so you need detection. Their burrowing speed is already superior to tanks at its base level, and worse yet, this can be upgraded for even faster burrowing. They move faster than tanks.
Oh, and best one. They deal AOE, but they don't hit friendlies.
This is why I always go for 2-base-all-in whenever I go against Zerg nowadays.
Tanks also deal significantly more damage, but they have a dead-zone.

But Lurkers high attack speed and deceptively large AOE, even if it's straight lines, along with the fact that they have no damage reduction, make the difference moot. Making this worse, tanks deal less damage to light/unarmored units, unlike Lurker's flat damage across the board, making the DPS difference even closer to maybe 3-4 points, even with upgrades.

@@nielsunnerup7099 BCs are hilariously bad as late game units, which is the time when lurkers got fielded. And that bit about 'hydras don't counter BCs' is not even remotely true, because by the time a Terran can reliably produce BCs at sufficient number, Zergs would have the economy and larvae to field 15-20 hydras at once, continuously, up to 40-60 hydras if they blew their bank.
When combined with Lurkers, even if you have 10 BCs on the field by 15 mins mark, you might as well say adios to any expansion you have, except maybe your natural.
Yea let's give lurkers and even banes friendly fire so they kill each other in 1 sec lol. Also gl hf trying to kill bcs with hydras. Unless the terran has less than 40 IQ and his macro is shit. 15 hydras can kill 1 bc, sure.
Ugh, it irks me that "pro" players still get tied down to basic strats for the entire game. This game we go bio, this game we go mech....you can mix it up.
