very interesting review. I recently went to express from PIA. The reason was that I can run it on a router and everything selectively has a tunnel. This was a many reason for me to switch. Yes expensive but when you evaluate the router deal…not so much. Most everything else you mentioned as a security point of view is already for me taken care of with router or browser etc. I do appreciate your unbiased review and knowledge of what this vpn offers. After an evaluation of your review…I will say that your reservations are being mostly addressed with my configuartion. That is the primary concern….good security.
Really great review Tom! I do feel like some light should be shed here though - There's actually a pretty big security hole in ExpressVPN that I'm surprised more people haven't covered. The split-tunneling feature is prone to giving you DNS leaks, and the feature has been functioning that way for some amount of years now. I've reached out to their support team, and they've claimed they're aware that this is a known issue, and that their engineers are working on a fix. Yet here we are some amount of time later, with the feature still being fully accessible, yet broken. It's concerning that most consumers would probably gloss over this, and use the feature not knowing that their traffic is still being exposed.
What VPN would you recommend to full-time RV’ers that want to keep watching HULU Live on their TV as they travel the US? We have already moved 4 times so we can no longer receive LIVE. We must watch LIVE only on our phones and IPad.
So let me ask, for basic stuff that I want like no tracking for like if you look for food of some sort, then you'll see loads of ads on that food and protect my ip from tracking, and this is the best for me for basic safety
Tom Spark which vpns should I use to by pass vpn blocks? I used tor guard with the stealth port and a dedicated ip but I still got blocked

Here's something no one will tell you. They won't cancel your subscription ever. When you go into their site and turn off "auto-renewal", it will be enabled again a few weeks later and they continue to bill your credit card.
I was with Express for around 5 years. Thanks to channels like yours I realised how overrated & overpriced it was.
Far better options out there.
Tom - appreciate the reviews, but there's one factor you don't seem to take into account - sometimes a user needs a VPN to provide a server in a specific country.... and the vendors don't guarantee that access. I bought a 3 year subscription to TorGuard - and then they dropped the country server I needed ! their support response was basically " yeah, sorry about that dude" .... WeVPN doesn't support my country... ExpressVPN does, so for now they get my business.
