Hey guys thanks for watching and don't forget to hit that thumbs up & Subscribe to my channel and turn on my post notifications so you never miss a video!
This thing should come with a free salt mine and industrial grade earplugs!
Lmao that was funny 😂 good one 👌🏼
1st time rubbish 2time really good
don’t forget 90% of the antarctic for the ice
It's a kid's toy
Bloody love this comment had me chuckling
I had already asked to return the machine thinking it was broken, your instructions were perfect. Thanks
Followed your instructions and had perfect slushies (with a dash of vodka).... Thanks and keep up the good work :-)
instructions followed, but it will not be ice. what should I do
How much vodka did you out in? I'm guessing you substituted the water for it?
My 19 year old daughter and I bought one of these today so we can have vodka slushies at xmas😋
Was looking to get this as a gift for someone with an affinity for brain freeze, was deterred by a lot of the bad reviews and only after watching your video I've realised it's something worth getting, especially for the summer. Thanks!
Brain freeze? I think you’ll give them brain ache with the noise of the damn thing!
Thanks for the video, I bought a slush puppy machine for £15 in a Charity shop but It didn't have that black measuring cup you got and It didn't come with instructions or a Box. I ordered the syrup of eBay So I'm waiting for that, You made the instructions very clear for me. I got off a different video that it is 835 ML of water and 165 ML of syrup. that's handy to know.
Hi Gavin
I've never laughed so much ! Good instructions we cocked our machine up twice this video definitely helped us cheers mate !
Thank you so much for these instructions! I asked the slushie maker for my birthday to make slush puppies for me and my kids :) i now know to look for an ice maker too haha thank you so much, enjoyed your tips. Greetings from the Netherlands
Great instructions! Never knew it would need so much salt.
The salt doesn't go into the drink it stays with the ice and won't be consumed
Thanks for this video! I watched it through, then followed it again alongside the paper instructions and it all worked first time. Fab! 👍👍🏆
Thank you, this made the perfect slush!
Good informative video! Thank you for uploading! Thanks
Thanks for sharing ☺️ I left the instructions at home lol This saved the night 😉
@@GavlarNation I definitely did. They were amazing.
Great video thank you so much!
Best and most correctly shown tutorial thank u.
Thank you for your video. Who would of thought a slush machine would be so tricky to use. Will defo get one for my son 👍
Great instructional video and very informative. Keep up the great reviews mate.
Cheers dude really helped!
Man this is a fab video. Thank you so much for doing this. As we tried 5times before watching your video as the instructions wasn’t easy to follow certainly didn’t say to water down the syrup. Well done !
The days when u didn’t have paper straws 🥺🥺🥺🥺😢😖😖
Thanks mate got one happy 5 year old thanks to you! Great video keep it up 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I've just started working for the range and seen they sold these as I picked one and the slush syrup and about to buy one 😂😂😂 cheers for the laugh along the way too
Thank you for sharing. 👍
Hi Gavin you absolute legend. Thanks for reassuring me that my purchase was the right thing. I'm looking forward to trying this. Just waiting on the syrup to arrive. Thanks again mate you seem like a really nice guy

great vid mashallah top stuff
Brilliant video thank you 😂 .....looking to get one and now I will 👍👏
What a Great and Humble Man.. God Bless You and Your Family GB Gavlar. Thanks a million for this video, Dee & Will In Sunderland 👍👍
Use 166ml of syrup with 833ml of water and you get a 5:1 ratio for your mixture. You will get a 1000ml so you dont make too much mixture and go over the line on the slush machine, this is what i do! Cheers dude! Alex
Mr Jay slush puppy syrup bottles come in 500ml bottles, and is supposed to give u four 4 litres os slush as its 1 part syrup 5 parts water. Ur maths is shit
Ed Banks - 5 parts of water @ 166ml = 830ml PLUS 166ml of slush syrup = 996ml (1 litre). The canister holds 1 litre of mix. SO here we have 5:1 ratio. This is why gavin had so much mix left in the jug. Clearly you don’t understand! If a jug holds one litre of mix and you need 5 parts water to 1 part syrup, then you divide 1000ml by 6 parts. 5 parts is water and 1 part is syrup. I think this is too hard for you to understand!
Mr Jay thank you. Just got mine and it doesnt come with syrup mix instructions
The Bing did it work with those instructions?
This helped me a lot thank you♥️
Well explained. Thanks mate
Thanks man 👍
Thank you I’ll be trying this out with my son. The instructions it came with are awful. It’s been sitting in our kitchen unused for nearly 2 months since Christmas 😬
Thankyou very much very helpful as I have just got the same one 😀 😊 can't wait for summer now
Dam them straws are worth hundreds now and he just used it
You're supposed to leave the lid on throughout the operation that's why you have 2 holes in the lid, forward one for ice, salt and water and the rear one for the flavoured slush mixture
I found the lid comes off when the slush starts to form around the bottom, the plastic part gets stuck and won't turn right unless lids off
I can’t stop watching over and over
Great work mate , I’d forgot why I was watching your video
Thank you for you great video, was very helpful and made it easy to follow 👍
Very much appreciated!!! I was a total flop 😂 I used up one full bottle of syrup and still couldn’t figure it out ! Finally done with your help :) Merci 🙏🏼
At what level do you top up ice and salt?
Does anyone have the receipt for the original tart slushy flavors I cant find one anywhere
I have just purchased one of these and it does say to use salt
Please could you help, following instructions however mixture does not seem to freeze as well as this. It always leaves a slightly icy liquid based substance and doesn’t seem to be cold enough to get thick ice?
WOW so much salt used. A heart attack ready to happen drink . Plus with the loud noise and so much to do just for a drink . I think I will stick too putting ice into a drink which takes about 30 seconds. Plus no salt added . NICE VIDEO.
This is useful and really funny
thank you for this your video was the best :)
When do you top up with ice and salt?
What sort of salt do you need to use???
So cool i want one
Does it have to keep running? To keep the icee iced? Can I turn it off and come back to it ?
Much appreciated gavin. Watched today 20:33pm after breaking my fast in month of ramadan muslim fasting month. Just across your video. Love your energy in this video. May Allah/God guide you to islam. God willing. Thanks again for this video what a great help.👌👌👌👌👍
I purchased that one last night £55 and then went ahead and purchased cocktail 🍹 slush puppy machine little bit cheaper just so I can have two flavour going at the same time and a pop corn machine a ps5 and Philips ambilight Dolby vision Dolby Atmos 4k TV I mite of spent 1 thousand not sure, tbh I've never treated myself to anything soo s'all Good 👍🍹 happy days 🤗
How long did it take
I have tried 3 times now waste money on salt ice and syrup tbh bhut
This is a cool video, thanks for posting it it’s been very educational!
I was wondering is there a lot of salt in the slushy itself or does that salt have something to do with staying in the ice compartment or just that slushy that’s in the ice compartment eventually get into the flavoring how does that work? I have to be on a low salt diet
Now using my blender I tried to make a Taco Bell Baja colada blast! Turned out pretty darn good😁
You can’t use your own ice you need to use like ice that you buy at the store that’s made with it like distilled water or spring water or something and I put a bunch of that ice into my blender and just a little bit of water and with the ice crushing blade on my blender I crushed the ice until it got to like a slushy and then I went ahead and poured in my colada syrup alcohol free,And then poured in my can of Mountain Dew Baja blast and my colada alcohol free mix. It’s slush up really well it seem to be a little runny but I poured it into a double walled cup that was cold and let it sit for about five minutes and it got good and slushy and firmed right up and stayed for over a half hour on the table and it was still slushy in the cup!
I’m not a big fan of using the blender to crush ice that’s why I’m looking into one of them these machines and I come across your video. This seems like just what I’m looking for this type of machine right here thank you for posting😁👍
Hi, the salt is merely added as it lowers the freezing temperature of water, hence sea water freezes lower than fresh. This way you end up with slush as it prevents the liquid freezing, coupled with the movement of the machine and addition of syrup. The salt is confined to the ice section so does not affect the drink itself. The ice section acts as a temperature differential so that the liquid changes state to slush via contact with the cannister itself. No worries with salt contamination in the drink itself hope this helps
💕My heart warms to people as kind as you and I've seen some hate comments don't let them hurt you're better then them💕
Hi do u need to freeze the ice bucket first and if so how long for, iv got this machine and tried to make them 3 times times but not worked. And I was not mixing with water🤦♀️
Love that straw sipping action
Have one for my son for his Birthday ... thanks for sharing the info 🤣🤣🤣
Red turd
Your video has really help me thank you. Getting this as a gift. What salt is it you use? Is it just regular salt
Yes it’s just regular salt let me no how you get on with it
@@GavlarNation brilliant thank you 😃
@@rebeccaharry8459 you are very welcome
nice video guys cheers
I found taking the lid off easier as the slush forming at the bottom tends to send it flying across rhe room 😂
I read a lot of bad reviews. Most say it doesn’t taste the same so which is it is it like ampms icee or not?
How do u open up the lid
Thanks for your video...you really made my day! Have you tried making mr whippy ice-cream..?
Thanks Gavlar. Got one of these for Christmas and looking to use if for the first time tomorrow. 🤞
@@GavlarNation it turned out great. Only problem was with dispensing, the first 300ml or so came out no problem but after that I think the nozzle got a bit clogged. Otherwise it worked perfectly, not sure what all the bad reviews are for and all the people saying it doesn't work, they clearly can't follow instructions.
Hi once you done one mixture can you top up or do you need to start the process all over again ?
How much salt is in the cap ? I lost my cap so don’t the measurement for how much salt !! Thanks for the video 🤙
Just purchased the slushie machine today with the intention to use it for my daughter's birthday party, thank you for posting these instructions will defo try! 😊
Please tell me you added the water to the syrup instead of doing what I did - pour all the bottle in and wonder why the f things was not slushing LOOOOOOL
Ok tried this twice following this guys every move and the instructions and its still not right just pouring out like juice
Hihi your funny . shouldn't you put the ice and the salt first before turning in the machine hihi just saying ..I was also trying to figure out how to use mine .I just purchased mine yesterday ..But yes I got the idea how it works now ..I yes I love your energy keep the day job haha 🤪🤪🤪 peace And Namaste 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 and oh your very much entertaining stay safe man
the salt makes the ice colder.
Hi gavin my machine jammed and slush wasn't even ready :( does it normally happens? Thank you.
Hi how much salt as I do not have their measuring cup
Is it normal salt you add please?
Jump cut?!
Is it just normal table sailt you use plz I just got one thanks
Thank you.. also I forgot to tell you.. salt melts ice so less salt , perhaps
Grabbing the ice by hand is a no no
Mine doesn’t work. The second it starts to freeze the motor jams and won’t spin. I reverse it like the instructions say but it just jams
How much salt do you use
Once mixed, can you leave it for an hour spinning before you serve to the kids?? Or does it have to be used like within 15 minutes? Surely you can top up salt and syrup to keep thickening it for an hour or so? A reply is much appreciated :)
@@GavlarNation have you had an experience where it lasted only a short time in heat? I think we need to just get the real deal with the freezer attached to be fair :D
I put mine in the freezer. You can still spoon it out next day.
Does that salt mix into the slushy
does the slushy go into the centre or the outside?
where does the ice and salt mix go?
think.
How long befor it turns into slush
Why do you put so much salt in it. That would have been the last thing I'd of thought you would have put in it. How long before it turned into ice? MMMmmmm that looks lush.
The salt makes the ice colder so it freezes faster
The salt never comes in actual contact with the slush
Where I messed up was I didn't realise I was meant to mix the syrup with water😂 thanks for this 3 years later lol
Me too! Wondering why it wasn’t freezing!
Where do you get the syrup from?
Callum Lloyd warehouses or amazon try Costco’s or other online stores 😁
Does it work?
Never got the mixture but the rest was interesting
Why does it need so much salt?
I'm still here waiting for my slush, I need a lot of ice don't ya.
My machine has been on for a hour and nothih is happening at all. Why is that
Hey m8 do you still use it?😁
