NEW UPDATE: Get my NEW 🏆 Affiliate Marketing Crash Course 🏆 for FREE, here: www.milesbeckler.com/free-affiliate-course I've broken down everything I did in order to build, launch and grow a brand new affiliate site to over $3500/mo in profit in simple step-by-step format... It's 100% beginner friendly and of course, it's yours 100% free... Because my lifestyle is supported by my affiliate sites NOT from selling you courses... 👍
Just made my first 3k commission from using what you've taught over the years. You're pretty much the only marketer I reccomend to other people. This was super helpful in terms of using a frame work. I'm working on getting my posts more stylized and consistent and this helps a lot. Thanks for all your videos man.
How long did it take for you to generate your first revenues? I'm struggling to select a niche... Also, which Miles' videos have been the most useful for you?
Miles Beckler Hey Miles, awesome video, created a process very similar to the one you had shown - also using SurferSEO to grab the Heading count too! I'm curious to know also, what sort of process do you do for supporting articles in the silo that interlink to your money post? How do you go about doing research in conjunction with the money post and picking topics that can be interlinked? Thanks 😊
I generally search for three posts on my site that reference the topic and simply go build one internal link from each of those three pointing to this new post. Sometimes more, sometimes less… Depends on how much I've talked about this topic in the past
Images and photos optimization... what image compression do you use? or what plugin is useful in that case? JPEG or PNG? how do you know how big to resize the image? thanks!
Thanks Miles very helpful. Q & A section sounds like a good section to add to blog posts. For you is it still content that is key? Are you running backlink outreach, paid backlink or PBN projects in conjunction with your content creation? If so how much of a focus do you put on content as opposed to backlink generation? Maybe a video on this would be cool. Gaining backlinks on a white hat basis seems to be a real chore and I wonder whether the time is best spent purely trying to develop great content.
Miles is BY FAR the best in the affiliate marketing niche....No BS, no spam, no garbage - Just facts. Thank you Miles for all your time and efforts sharing with us
Hey miles, watched this twice, got all my notes. Do you have a video that shows you how to put such a post into wordpress, and how to do the affiliate links, headings, scattering of key words. What is good, what is frowned upon, etc. That kind of thing?
Excellent content and you give it away for free! I really appreciate that. I found you through your website case study. I started building a website in November last year and I get motivation and ideas from case studies people post on RUclips. I was sad when I watched your last video in the case study, that you wouldn't post anymore. I totally understand why, it's too bad that a couple bad apples rot the bowl.
I watched another video of yours that showed using related searches and people also searched for to build template. I believe the example was vegan dog food. Is that only for shareable content ? Should we be just focusing on one keyword phrase for review posts or is it also important we optimize H2 sub headings as well? For example your sub headings just look like “best ……” and “best…….”.
Miles, I love and understand your concept. I love it because it is Google optimized per se and it is fast. But, if I get into a 90-day challenge this way, that means I need at least 90 titles. My questions are: 1) Do I need to go through this process for all 90 blog posts? 2) How to find 90 topics (titles) for the same thing (for example, how to find 90 titles for Best Chef knife)? From your video, I would say you have at best 11 of them. Thank you, Srdjan
Nice tidy format for 'review' sites. Well done. Re: Chef Knives: Serration is key to to ease of cutting. It takes proper serration to both cut a tomato and a steak. A non-serrated knife will 'squinch' a tomato's skin not 'cut' it cleanly. So, would you include why some knives cut better or worse than others?
Great video Miles. Love to see an example of a post fully put together. It wouldn't need to expose your sites just a post placed on a free word press site just to use as an example.
sometimes but it's not necessary… They can take a long time to code in and it can slow you down on making more content. Table of contents always go towards the top generally blow the intro
Great content Miles! Question: I am just starting out, so wondering about the copywrite of images. Let's say I will be reviewing the best knives as your example. I obviously do not own all the knives I will be reviewing and do not have pictures. Can I use a picture from amazon if there is a product link embedded? Just trying to avoid using images that could get me in trouble.
Hi Miles, I just watched your whole video, in three increments. You have answered most of my questions and I also have a plan broken down into steps. Thank you soooo much!
Hey Miles... awesome breakdown into how to research and write top quality posts for affiliate sites... appreciate how you break it all down, and make it easier to understand what's required to rank in Google... The hard part is consistent content writing over time.. but it's a necessary evil I guess for many, who continue to build websites that rank. Awesome content as always bro... be safe
Miles, I don't know how to thank you enough. Super helpful content. But few big confusion you didn't clear here that I badly want you to answer is- Question: Like you said, "if your competitors are reviewing 10, you should go for 12." Now, where should I put the 12 lists of products between "Intro to FAQ". How many products should I show in the best overall section? Should I divide the 12 products in between "best overall to alternative 2?" That's 2 products per section. Aren't "best budget and best under" the same thing? You didn't show the best runner-up. Thank you for your contribution to the digital marketing community.
just keep making the post longer as needed to fit 12… You could put them in the "additional items tested" section at the bottom and simply do some Google searching to find some review posts that have lots of items reviewed to use as your personal examples
Thank you so much for your time Miles. May you stay healthy and live the life to it's fullest and may Allah bless you and your family members and keep you healthy in this pandemic.
Hi Miles, Should I create multiple websites to cover unrelated categories of products or should I post blog/reviews of unrelated categories using a single website?
Quick Question: If you have additional sections which do not appear on google (e.g. other questions in the FAQs which are not on google) but I think that they add real value for the reader, will this be penalised by google for adding these? i.e. will it dilute the reward for the stuff it is looking for. Real eye opener of a video - wish I had watched it 30 articles ago....keep up the good work mate!
greetings from morocco here is one of the best content you can see on youtube as someone who wants to start an online business thank you so much i highly recommend everyone to watch Beckler's videos (y)
As you are using google suggestions, the suggestions are changing because its based on users typing in the keyword. My question is: do you ever go in and recheck the post you just made research for in the past? And add in words you are missing (based on new keyword suggestions from google dropdown suggestion) ? If you got my question...
yes, we revisit old content all of the time. Specifically when something ranks on page 2 and does not make it to page 1 we go back through and look at how we can improve the content repeating this process.
Hey Miles! Great post with great value thanks! I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. 1. What kind of title do you suggest for this kind of format, which does not have numbers list in it like the other examples? 2. Do you include a product comparison table at the top after the intro with check price kind of CTAs? If yes, do they work for you? 3. Are the alternates always a different product category with a few similarities?
Hi Miles, thanks again for all your teaching. I have a question (another) I’m hoping you can help with. I want to track referral sales, when someone clicks on someone else’s product on my site - not traditional affiliate, not amazon or click bank etc, just plain referral. And I cant find out how/where to get tracking links/codes. I dont use wordpress as for e-commerce it was $70 a month so have my own website built through a provider (complicated decision). Anyhow, in the absence of wordpress plugins, I’m lost as to how & what tracking links I could use. Thanks heaps again in advance. Stay well.
you can add new TM codes and give the recipient of the traffic the data... If you want to own the data, you are getting into a very deep and confusing world that offers minimal amount of value for the amount of effort it takes to try and track. Event tracking and analytics, maybe a plug-in like pretty link, but if you don't control the transaction you should let go of this feeling that you need to track everything.
Hey Miles, thank you for the amazing value you provide. I have one question: I think that giving too many options to the people can overwhelm them and cause them analysis paralyssis. I think it could be better to give less options and really targeted for each case: best overall, best butget, best for left handed, etc., instead of focus on the biggest number. What do you think about?
That's something which is concerning me too. Also how do you know the "expert" you hire is actually an expert? And won't using an individual lead to a biased review as no practitioner is going to have a truly exhaustive knowledge of all the tools available in a niche?
hey miles, can you clarify somethings. 1 you are running a review site with different categories of products? yes/no 2 is all your article writing keyword rich in text for the product headings only? and lastly, if your a running a general review site for amazon affiliate program is your menus just structured in product categories and your site is just article rich? thanks!
the website is focus on one specific type of product... It's fairly well niched down. The content is extremely valuable really truly helping people understand the question or the products they're looking for
Hey Miles, when you're doing these and you find "best chef knife under $100" could be its own post (based on what Google is showing for that term), do you write a whole new post for it as well? Or just try to rank your main keyword for this term? And if you do decide to write a post on its own, do you do anything to de-optimize your main post to avoid any cannibalization?
How would you do the research to review individual products that I personally use? It would be difficult to for me create a “Top 10” type post without having the first hand experience with 9 out of the 10.
I'm not very deep in that world but my friend Alex with travel fashion girl has done amazing in that space finding the overlap between travel and fashion for women
Hey Miles, thanks once again! I keep hearing Kyle Roof's advice in the back of my mind where he says word count isnt critical and to just do 1300-1500 words. Any thoughts on that? Cheers, Rowan
I've never personally heard Kyle say that and I've spent a fair amount of time hanging out with a guy at events we both spoken at... I don't believe I trust that idea... Have you ever used Kyle's POP tool? it has very clear word count recommendations. So does Cora which is his partner's tool.
@@MilesB haven't used his POP tool yet. Looks good though! I think the 1300-1500 was for his "quick n dirty" approach. He may well place more importance on it with the pro approach which I haven't delved into just yet.
Thank you so much for the information. I'm thinking about getting into affiliate marketing and learning more about it. How do you choose which products to pick for each category (example: which knife to pick as best overall)? Do you have personal experience with the product or do you just research which would be the best? Thanks again!
You are very welcome. Glad you caught my vid. It is best when you have experience with the products or brands to make recommendations... But you can 'do the research for them' and base it off if which one you'd buy based on a few factors... Best of the best, best value, cheapest, etc.
Can this type of blog post (reviewing the best knives) be posted in the beginning of a blog's life or is it better to have 50-100 general posts first before you jump into writting something in such depth? And another question: How many posts (or how much traffic) before you should begin to include affiliate links in your blog? Will it hurt to include affiliate links in your first post or better to wait?
Also, you don't need to own a product to review it, as long as you state on your affiliate website that you are compiling the best products together for comparisons etc(pros/cons) based upon the hundreds or thousands of reviews, to save the reader alot of time in making their decision. That's what I learned from Greg Gottried . Just make sure you are honest and if lots of people are mentioning "cons" make sure you don't leave those out of the reviews. ... Most of the sites that do reviews of products don't even own them. Nobody is going to buy 20 different welding machines and use them, or 20 different vaccum cleaners and use them. They are just creative with their content to make you believe that they actually did use them. But unless they are extremely wealthy, there's not reason to believe that they own or have used all of those products.... I prefer those to just have a disclosure that says otherwise.
so is it better to do keyword research before product research because in my mind it seem to make a bit more sense, because if you are doing a niche you already know you basic product your just have to find said problem/word research, tell me if I'm getting it or should you still start with said product first?
Thanks Miles for the nice video, i have a question here. I understand from your video that I cant success in affiliate marketing if I don't have content (which i was always have this problem)?. Thanks again
Awesome thanks Miles, quick question... I'm guessing the chef expert who can recommend the products would be a writer for you? What products would you recommend if you have a niche that you struggle to find an expert that's a writer? Or would you say that @t would be able to find you a writer that can recommend products in most niches?
I found a student who is studying my world and they do all of my research... Not my writers. An example would be in the music space, say I have a website where I review guitars. I found a researcher who is in college getting a music production degree and who has played guitar all of their life. They are in Guatemala actually so they are very inexpensive. They do my Amazon product research for me
@@MilesB Hi Miles where did you find this student? On a specific platform? I am also searching for someone who could do a product research for me? Did you use Upwork? Can you recommend where I find these people that would do product research for me? Thank you, hope you answer my qustion :)

Hey Miles, is there anything about a rough framework on How-To posts. I think it's relatively self explanatory but wondered if there was anything I'd be missing. Thanks for your content, honestly feel like I've found exactly what I'm looking for.
Hi Miles, not sure if you have a video or recommendation on outsourcing content (writers /agencies that have worked). I've burned money on quite a few, mediocre / average at best.
Hi Miles, you mentioned that you would write an article that covers more products than the competition to outrank then quicker, but later on you only have 4 recommendations? How does it work if I want to put in 15 chef knives for example?
Miles, is it possible to make a good affiliate site even though I don’t have a team, but I work alone, and if I have about $ 100 to invest? What should I invest that $ 100 in?
If you're willing to do the work and stick with it long enough, of course... search for my "affiliate marketing in 2020" video and you'll get the whole plan and you know exactly what you need
I noticed that you use price ranges in your review (under $50, etc). I have also done it, but now I am not sure if it is OK to continue using the price ranges. Amazon rules explicitly say that prices should not be mentioned (unless pulled by API), and Amazon Associates' support could not assure me that using 'under x price' is safe. At the same time, I see that these queries get a lot of search traffic, so it is very tempting to use them. What is your take on this?
Awesome content, thanks Miles. I have a question, concerning the content creation for long-tail keyword articles. Let's say I would like to write an article about "vegan dog food". In the SERP I will find most competitors ranking for the head term "dog food" and the long-tail "vegan dog food". If I analyse their H2s on the topics I need to cover, I will have a lot of topics that are not relevant for my long-tail article. How to write article that focus only on the long-tail keyword?
every post and that SERP has the exact longtail phrase in the title - www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=vegan+dog+food You're not copying the topics from other people's blog posts… That's not what I taught in this video. Please rewatch the video and make sure you understand the process and if you need help watch the additional videos linked in the description of this post
Miles I appreciate you so much! You over delivered wise words on this video. You rock! Now I just have to roll up my sleeves and get to it knowing I won’t be wasting my efforts. Thank you sir!
@Miles Beckler Thanks for the great post! This is super helpful. Could you elaborate more on the product research phase? Did I understand correctly that you'll hire freelancers with domain knowledge on Upwork to help with product research? If just starting out and limited on cash to invest, do you recommend scouring Amazon reviews and other review pages to determine the products that best fit the post? Any other recommendations?
I recommend choosing a niche where you have ample experience so you can draw from your experience to add value beyond what anyone else has created. if you are simply regurgitating Amazon review content you're not really adding anything are you? I would only hire a professional here because I'm not an expert in this. Which is why my brand is all about digital marketing because I've been doing the stuff since 2003 and it's easy for me to pull from my 17 years of expertise in making money online.
Hi! Bit of a late reaction, but I am running against the same problem😟 For a first affiliate website and limited cash, how will you be able to write multiple (honest!) posts about multiple products? Many people own maybe some products in any niche, but not enough to build multiple posts per week I think? Do you maybe have some recommendations?
just search "Best ___ for _____" and what Google shows on the very top is a great example because it's clearly ranking well. Doesn't matter if you search "best electric lawnmower for hills" or "best DSL are for RUclips vloggers" ...whatever. Just a member when you search Google for the template what Google shows at the top is ranking at the top for specific reason
Hey Miles, you mention that you would likely try increasing the number in your title to something higher than your competition. “17 Best” rather than “11 Best”. Are you concerned that readers may feel overwhelmed with too many options, opting to instead click on a hypothetical new post REDUCING the number to “7 Best”?
Hey Miles, if you had to pick between 100k youtube subscribers vs 100k unique visitors a month to your website from google organic search (assuming both are targeted traffic), which one would you say has a bigger potential for monetization? Thanks

MB at it again! That was a great investment of 18 minutes! Great to see your mindset on this..
hey miles, can you clarify somethings.
The content is extremely valuable really truly helping people understand the question or the products they're looking for
This is an absolute goldmine. Thank you
Brilliant.
Thank you
You are welcome
Holy shit, blows my mind away.
Ever looked what articles are on the last Google page ?
rarely. I optimize based on the winners not the losers
Wow that was a great video. so much useful information .
Hi Miles what if there are no reviews for your topic. There’s are just Pinterest links and links to e-commerce sites. How do u choose the word count ?
How would you do the research to review individual products that I personally use? It would be difficult to for me create a “Top 10” type post without having the first hand experience with 9 out of the 10.
Excellent!!! As usual!
Great video thank you. My favorite part was weeee...skipped a step! 😜
Lol
I really liked the Word Counter advice. Thanks Miles!
Glad you caught that
miles can you do a case study on a travel affiliate blog? Ideally for a travel booing website =)
Cheers for hitting me back!
This is GOLD! Thanks Miles. I see more $$$ in my future now. All while giving the people what they want :)
Should we put the text "Alternative" for heading or for example for Best Under 100 just put one product under another as an alternative?
test both
@@MilesB what do you prefer or what you use on your website?
so is it better to do keyword research before product research because in my mind it seem to make a bit more sense, because if you are doing a niche you already know you basic product your just have to find said problem/word research, tell me if I'm getting it or should you still start with said product first?
Both approaches work. Do what feels beat for you
Great info. Thanks again Miles.
Very useful! Great value!
Any tip to structure information post? Say you find a phrase how much does pest control cost?
Search for my 'how to write SEO content fast' video 👍
Thanks Miles for the nice video, i have a question here. I understand from your video that I cant success in affiliate marketing if I don't have content (which i was always have this problem)?. Thanks again
Content is what the internet runs on. Yes it is indeed required
Wow! great training. Thank you, Miles
Thank you for this awesome advice! Great outline.
Glad it was helpful!
I love you Miles! What a germ 😍
What about keyword stuffing, should I need to stuff keywords?
No way. Bad idea

Brilliant. Greetings from Peru 🇵🇪.
Hey Miles, is there anything about a rough framework on How-To posts. I think it's relatively self explanatory but wondered if there was anything I'd be missing.
Thanks for your content, honestly feel like I've found exactly what I'm looking for.
Ya, search for my "how to write SEO content fast" video
Miles, thank you for the videos. So helpful
Cheers
Amazing.Learned a lot.Thank you.
Hi dear. What is your website?
Hi Miles, not sure if you have a video or recommendation on outsourcing content (writers /agencies that have worked). I've burned money on quite a few, mediocre / average at best.
I cover it in this video ruclips.net/video/H2Z3BdlJCpI/видео.html
@@MilesB thank you
Hey Miles, I have about 10 affiliate review templates and this one is trully awesome. Thanks for sharing this man! Really helpful.
cheers Brett
Hey Bret can you share or refer me where I can get more review templates
Hi Miles, you mentioned that you would write an article that covers more products than the competition to outrank then quicker, but later on you only have 4 recommendations? How does it work if I want to put in 15 chef knives for example?
List them all out! Find my 'how to write affiliatet marketing review posts template'
@@MilesB which video do you recommend to find the best niche ?
I noticed that you use price ranges in your review (under $50, etc). I have also done it, but now I am not sure if it is OK to continue using the price ranges. Amazon rules explicitly say that prices should not be mentioned (unless pulled by API), and Amazon Associates' support could not assure me that using 'under x price' is safe. At the same time, I see that these queries get a lot of search traffic, so it is very tempting to use them.
What is your take on this?
You can leverage other networks on these posts
Awesome content, thanks Miles. I have a question, concerning the content creation for long-tail keyword articles. Let's say I would like to write an article about "vegan dog food". In the SERP I will find most competitors ranking for the head term "dog food" and the long-tail "vegan dog food". If I analyse their H2s on the topics I need to cover, I will have a lot of topics that are not relevant for my long-tail article. How to write article that focus only on the long-tail keyword?
every post and that SERP has the exact longtail phrase in the title - www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=vegan+dog+food
You're not copying the topics from other people's blog posts… That's not what I taught in this video. Please rewatch the video and make sure you understand the process and if you need help watch the additional videos linked in the description of this post
Thanks so much!!!
You are the guy!
Indeed I am
Thank you Miles your content is very valuable I'm so happy to have came across you 😇
Great video Miles! Really helpful content!
Miles I appreciate you so much! You over delivered wise words on this video. You rock! Now I just have to roll up my sleeves and get to it knowing I won’t be wasting my efforts. Thank you sir!
You got this!
@Miles Beckler
Thanks for the great post!
Do you have a real-life example of how such a post would look once completed please Miles?
just search "Best ___ for _____" and what Google shows on the very top is a great example because it's clearly ranking well. Doesn't matter if you search "best electric lawnmower for hills" or "best DSL are for RUclips vloggers" ...whatever. Just a member when you search Google for the template what Google shows at the top is ranking at the top for specific reason
@@MilesB thank you
Hey Miles, you mention that you would likely try increasing the number in your title to something higher than your competition. “17 Best” rather than “11 Best”. Are you concerned that readers may feel overwhelmed with too many options, opting to instead click on a hypothetical new post REDUCING the number to “7 Best”?
No
I thought posts with best xyz under [price] is frowned upon on with Amazon.
Have you tested this with large datasets?
Brilliant as always! Thank you Miles!
You are very welcome
thank miles! When I"m starting to make money Online I would like to work with you!
BOSS, Super helpful!!! Thanks Coach B!
Hey Miles, if you had to pick between 100k youtube subscribers vs 100k unique visitors a month to your website from google organic search (assuming both are targeted traffic), which one would you say has a bigger potential for monetization? Thanks
undoubtedly 100 K unique visits per month my website
Thank brother ♡
