The overall theme is still the same, but this time all the content has lots of value for the user. Hey Miles great vid! I'm going to add my 2 cents on something that is often overlooked: Back in the days of Kindle, a lot of new entreprenuers were getting into the game trying to write Kindle Books. There was one glaring and obvious problem. Many of the people who were writing the books or hiring other people to write the books, *Didn't Read books Themselves!* Here is my 2 cents: If a person isn't an active reader. i.e. If they do not read books, blogs, or journals, they should be very careful about getting into the blog game. I guarantee there are people watching your videos, thinking about starting a blog, who haven't read a book or article in 10+ years... Those people should put the blog on hold, and read at least 10 books before they start.

Hey Miles, thanks for all you do bro. I made it all the way through the video, and I am going to watch it several more times just to pound it all into my head. I have taken over a business from a man who had no SEO insight at all, links were just wonky, named all weird and headlines were were generic. I have a secondary site but it is new, I feel like revamping this site as it is 11 years old will yield the best results. The site is Wordpress bloated with plugins, I think I will strip it down to basics and just plug in what is needed. I am one year in, so far it's just been getting a feel for the market and deciding on which way to go with it. Bringing in 18,000 products soon and hoping that by the end of year two we at least hit the 50k a year mark. Go 1%ers!

Miles I'm looking to help people through blogging but what if what I'm trying to help people with through that blogging doesn't involve selling things through affiliate marketing links is there other ways to earn money just through blogging?
oh yeah… You can run ads on your posts. I have friends who make tens of thousands of dollars per month displaying ads to their traffic instead of doing affiliate stuff. It's a wonderful business model and some say it has less competition since there aren't a bunch of affiliates clogging up those niches

I just put the URL of the home page of a website on MozDOTcom and the interface of the results are showing up differently than on your Keyword Research video. For example, I see the Domain Authority, but there isn't a ranking of Page Authority.

Miles I'm looking to help people through blogging but what if what I'm trying to help people with through that blogging doesn't involve selling things through affiliate marketing links is there other ways to earn money just through blogging?
oh yeah… You can run ads on your posts. I have friends who make tens of thousands of dollars per month displaying ads to their traffic instead of doing affiliate stuff. It's a wonderful business model and some say it has less competition since there aren't a bunch of affiliates clogging up those niches

Right on man… This is the same process I use on my content site that doesn't do affiliate and my traffic is up over 150% year over year :D it truly is a full content marketing strategy I just needed to tie it into my month five affiliate site update, LOL… So I made it relevant
Do you still use MozDOTcom for domain analysis, @@MilesB ? If not, what do you use currently? I just put the URL of the home page of a website on MozDOTcom and the interface of the results are showing up differently than on your Keyword Research video. For example, I see the Domain Authority, but there isn't a ranking of Page Authority.
