- In this , episode 21, DV shows not only the flow and associated port parameters but also the base line dyno results from which to judge subsequently tested modified heads. Using advanced porting techniques the power gains achieved were outstanding.

10 Days Seminar with King David Vizard?
I feel so lucky to be able to see mr vizard speak about head flow. His knowledge is unmatched! Complete legend!
DV is a legend!! I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one.
Your knowledge is only matched by your class.
Lucky enough to have learnt about port energy from David back in the late eighties, it is the fundermental baseline to building very powerful engines.
I'm fascinated by the combustion chambers on that trickflow.
Love the comparison to bullet coefficientancy . Very common for guys now days to measure the impact at long ranges. Realizing "speed" carries more impact then diameter and weight. Even with a smaller 6mm projectile and 100 grain. The impact retains the energy way out past 1000 meters. Dont ask how i know that!
Great video. So much presented but so much more to come. Looking forwards to the future videos. Thanks so much for putting out these videos David. Much appreciated.
great lesson
Thoroughly enjoyed this video!
Like Xmas....I can't wait for part 2 !!!
Learning so much from all your vids DV. Just wish I could photographical remember it all and compile it all into my next two builds (yes, I've already read your head porting & how to build horsepower books). Heads are a big problem with the engine type I'm working with so what I'm learning is vital for me to build an efficient & powerful heads. And ultimately a powerful & torque laden built engine :)
Looks like a great series! Can't wait for the next episode. I have a set of 69 351 4v heads I'm looking forward to working on. No longer have the car to go with but nonetheless...
Thanks David and Andy.
Can’t wait to see the rest of these results
Looking forward to this. Back in the 70’s I ported my 302 heads. Installed 351W valves and ported to match. Still running strong.
Can't thank you enough for sharing knowledge.
Thank you Mr. Vizard!!!!!!!
I'm a fan of his no nonsense, to the point personality above all else...Get er done
Another great video. Love the superior info that you bring to the table always. As an idea have you ever thought about doing a short video on some of the old orphan American V-8 engines of the past? I am thinking of your AMC engine file for 401, 390, 343, 304 and 290 engines. I think they deserve a dedicated video for AMX and rambler fans as I know there are many. Besides that maybe one more video grouping together all of the "other" lost V-8's that have driven into the sunset over the past 70 years like the Studebaker, Packard, International Harvester, Rambler 289, Buick Nailhead, Buick 215, Ford flathead V-8, early Hemi's, etc. I would love to hear your comments on these obsolete head and block designs and what can be done with them to improve performance. Sounds like great fun!
