I repair windows and screens. My question is if customer happens to cut or rip screen how easy is it to replace and also is it costly to replace? Thank you

How is the screen removed or replaced? Can the screen be disengaged when needed?

Hi Jason - The screen can very easily be disengaged from the sash, if needed, either by tilting sash or gently manually disengaging at the bottom of the sash when the window is open. You are then able to completely fold away the screen so it is out of your way. The screen is not designed to be completely removed the way conventional screens are but could be removed and/or replaced if something were to happen to the screen - though the design is very durable to help ensure longevity.

Better check to make sure all of your screens work. Just had windows installed in our home. 13k later and 2 of my screens won't work. Pella hasn't returned our calls.
