I'm back to where i was before this years internationals started. Waiting to see with very little confidence. Razor picked conservative then played even more conservative. The young players should have been blooded after Razor won the first England game(his first) and couldn't lose the series. Instead a they got played against Fiji under zero pressure and nothing else(not even used when on the bench) until injuries forced him to try Walace Sititi.
I think we’ve done very well considering the nzru and their stuff-up regarding the complete changes made with the coaching staff half way through the year. I think the players were disillusioned, and it’s a wonder they didn’t all go overseas to make money. It was only their love for the jersey that kept them here I think. We can only improve, and we will, and hopefully peak for the World cup. We are proud of our loyal players, it’s now up to ‘razer’ to earn their respect.

With all respect BUT in 2016 the SARU put the KIngs into the pro 14 season! The following season they put the Cheetahs into the URC for the 2017-2018 northern hemisphere season! The SARU had already 1 foot out the back door from SANZAR because of the most lucrative tv deal with the FFR! Since then the SARU has never looked back and to simply blame the NZR when the SARU had already 2 of their teams in Northern Hemisphere rugby is a lie! I don't blame the SARU in what they did - its business and they did the right move BUT the SARU had made it quite clear back in 2015 their interest of playing in the Northern Hemisphere season because it was the right financial move! I'm listening this carefully from Scotland. It seems that so many Kiwis find it hard to accept that sometimes the Boks are just better than the ABs. I feel that I at least can see the wood for the trees.
As a South African, the rest of the world doesn't know what is really happening between South Africa and New Zeeland. We play rugby against the whole world, but when we meet each other, ists almost not about rugby anymore. We go to war. If you lose, you're dead. It feels like dying if you lose, because you lost a war. i know New Zeeland people feel exactly like me and its been ongoing for generations. And for some stupid reason, we LOVE to go to war. At the moment, i feel the All blacks play against themselves. But i will never right off an All Black, ever.
My advice to everyone is to STOP watching these chaps.....excepts for Mils.....there is fundamentally a frailty with their obvious bias......INSTEAD......go and watch the Atearoa Sky Sport NZ pod with Brynie Hall and Jimmy Parson.....proper pundits proper analysis and all round fantastic blokes.

Having just watched the last series of Ted Lasso and how he danced at the end of the game… it convinced me that Razor is so much like him for all sorts of reasons! The lack of creativity with these guys is pretty astounding. Wallabies and NZ both off and surprise surprise both play in quite a shoddy comp in super rugby. And the two best teams in the world are playing against each other regularly in the URC. Need to start the season in line with Europe and try to get the teams more exposure to the higher standard in Europe at club level.
I must confess this whole narrative that the ABs are rebuilding and the Boks arent is the biggest coping mechanism i have seen in a while from some rival fans and pundits and factually incorrect🙂 Boks are the most rotated team in the rugby championship, and also had a new defense and attack coach, transitioning the Boks style of a play which you could see had some teething issues. Also lets not forget AB fans had also never heard of Ben Jason Dixon, Sasha Fienburg, Elrich Louw, Ruan Nortje, Gerhard Steenekamp, Fassie etc before they lost to the Boks this year 🙂 All that and Boks still won it pretty convincingly 👌🏻🙂🏆
ABs have completely new coaching staff and lost a lot of senior players from the WC who they can’t pick because of eligibility laws in NZ - Aaron Smith, Brodie Retellic, Richie Mo’Unga etc so in that sense they are rebuilding. Hope that helps

Boks dont have Faf, Kitshoff, Mostert and Duane Vermuelan either, who started in the world cup final and are pretty key players too from the Boks. Dunno why Beaudan gets such praise playing 10 under the least pressure of any game in the entire rugby championship. Beaudan has always been great off the bench as well, playing your replacement 10 at 15 the whole game tiring them out means they're never going to make any impact like they can off the bench. Having a 1 dimensional single position winger on the bench is a rediculous waste, just like Razor wasted his reserves the entire rugby championship.
