  • A prayer for deliverance from all the things that get in the way of our ability to reflect the heart of God to live at peace with each other:
For the sake of your glory
For the sake of your name
For the sake of your holiness
    Deliver us
For the sake of your kingdom
For the sake of your fame
For the sake of your gospel
    Deliver us
    From the root of bitterness
    From the power of pride
    From the need for justice
    Deliver us
    From the grip of anger
From the need to be right
    From the breaking of fellowship
    Deliver us
Oh would you come and heal our land
Would you teach us to repent
    Restore us oh Lord
    Come be revealed in us
    Show your heart in us
    Revive us oh Lord
That we would rejoice in you
    Place our trust in you
That all who are yours would turn and see
You are the God of peace
    With a heart of patience
    With a spirit of grace
    With great understanding
    Come and fill us
    With a hope for forgiveness
With a love for your ways
With the power of your Spirit
    Come and fill us
    You say forgive again
    You say assume the best
You say that judgement belongs to you
So as it depends on me
    Lord may I always be
A person who carries your peace

    Very beautiful.
Last week, I went through a spiritual attack that shook me and made me question whether I should be around certain people. The Lord helped me get back up and realign with His will.
Now this song showed up in my feed today and made me realize that we have to fight (through prayer and our disciplines) to keep unity and fellowship.
This like a breath of fresh air and really strengthened me. Thank you Emma!
