For example, in Bustin' Out, Giuseppi Mezzoalto's theme (the docks at night) is a remix of Now Entering (neighbourhood 1) ^^
I totally remember this!! I had Sims and then later had Bustin' Out on GBA. I would actually sometimes not play the game on a long car ride, but instead listen to that Build Mode 6 remix, with my headphones in, and just chill lol. I believe it also came on if your Sim went in a public bathroom and that's how I got to the song. Thanks so much for posting this :)
this was a really cool video!! i've never played the sims 1 so it's so weird to hear high quality, sometimes altered, sometimes with lyrics, versions of tunes i already know. also the fact that both games share remixes some of the same tracks adds a weird amount of connectedness.

Not any buyable ones, but stuff that you can see/use around the city. That's the next handheld comparison video I need to get working on. I've been putting it off because weirdly enough, TS2 Pets for GBA also ported over a few objects from TS1, and I gave up on playing that game like, 5 minutes in the last time I tried. 😂

I was going to do another video of the items that were ported from TS1 to the handheld games as well. On a random note, I also just realized our icons look kinda similar 😂
