What a genius thing to express such a deep melancholy and encouragement at the same time in the same song, amazing! I've been quite a bit haunted by the part "and doom just got out o' Coffee Creek"... I have been brooding about this phrase for a while, wondering how it could be interpreted. Then I found that there is a prison in Oregon named "Coffee Creek" and also that the band is from Oregon and thus, it could be a reference, especially considering that "Lorna" (his new company? Maybe a former inmate?) "is headed straight down" and possibly she's the "doom [that] got out of Coffee Creek"... Anyways, very touching song! Thanks a lot.
Crying in 2020.
beautiful melancholy music
Real quality music. So, so good.
Nice laid back vibe. This album is going straight to my 'wants' list.
