Check out strange conversation...great song and lead-in to this track. For me, the last 3 songs of side B really push album over the top.
I may be way off track here, but it sounds like you two had a bit of a rift which you've now healed. I love how the colour comes in as Rosa gets closer - a lovely touch. And a lovely, touching song. Can't wait for the album/gigs!
@@selenaduponty9418 Yes, I remember hearing about that at the time, very sad. You could well be right about the songs meaning but I was looking at the way the video was presented and drawing conclusions from that. As I said, I could be way off! There is a song on the album called "Watching You Go", so that may also be about Jenny's loss.
@@selenaduponty9418 considering the track list has titles like "watching you go" and "in the cemetery" I think that loss will be a major topic in the album. Pitchfork has a quote from Jenny on this song and her boyfriends death is implied but the actual focus is how it impacted her relationships with friends.
There's a great interview with them on The Guardian, where they discuss exactly that. I tend to think that they are still so young, and figuring out who you are as a person is a lifelong task, so I'm glad that they've been able to begin that process as a pair.
I come across a lot of great bands who make good and interesting music since coming across grandma and recording there music these 2 young ladies are amazing to go from cyberpunk to a beautiful track like this shows how amazingly talented they well done girls love you and your music

Great songs and old fashion style. You seems natural girls/ artists , not like crazy who do every and stupid crazy things for money and popularity. For me , every hard moments of life, loneliness , suffering or even death is not end of life. Its just part of life so there is no space to blame any human or God. I know that i am not alone. In hard time i think about Jesus life and how He was and is treated by milion of people often forgotten. "1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind... 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God... 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1 I think also how God suffer from love to everyone on the Cross , how suffered Mother of God Virgin Mary when She saw Her dearest and holiest Son God- Human... In every suffer i remind about that in suffer i find Jesus, and its the way God call His children to Himself. We rere born naked, and will die naked like Job. Everything is born and made to give thanks to God for everything we got. And only sins belong to me. Free will, my body, health, life, mind i got from God. Suffering is bad but when come it learn patience : The Beatitudes He said: 3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Mt 5
