5(6, 7) balls of Paintbox Simply Dk or other similar weight 3 yarn
5 mm crochet hook

Loving this pattern and it's soo easy to follow except now I am starting the sleeves!
I have redone the start of the sleeves twice and I can't get the last stitch of the first row of the v stitch then dc to end on a dc... Mine is ending on a v stitch! Please can you tell me where I am going wrong as I am lost! Have gone for the small size starting with 63 ch. Thank you for your assistance x

Hi can i use Acrylic yarn dk
Can you please clarify the gauge for me. Weight yarn 3 - the gauge cannot be 9 stitches for 4". For knitting the yarn indicates it is 22 stitches for 4". For crochet it could not be that far of a difference. Please let me know as I would love to make this sweater. All the best,
I too have the same question. When I tried, 10 rows gave 4" height, but 9 stitches were just 2".

Hi Carrie. I’m using a light 3 yarn and I can’t get the right gauge. I’ve tried different hooks of course but no luck. Any suggestions? Thank you and I love your tutorials😊
Keep in mind that everyone's tension is different. Some crochet loose, some crochet tight. Work up a swatch with different hooks and try again. Hope that helps.
