I'm starting to wonder if Dorn is trapped in this same place for all the millennia he has been missing?
Maybe the reason why only Dorn's hand has been found is because the Wall came down and took it off while trapping Dorn? Dorn's mental state during the time period he disappears could be perceived by Khorne as "favorable for corruption". All those dead at the Iron Cage are skulls for the skull throne, no?

What an epic battle of wits. Too bad it never occurred to Dorn to try to get Khorne to say "I am Rogal Dorn".
He can't, as Ka'bandha once said, they are the truth of blood. Khorne never lies, what you see is what you get. So whatever he says to persuade you is honest, every appeal, every demand rings of truth. Its why it was so hard for Dorn to dismiss him. So ultimately he focused on a truth he wanted to believe more. He has free will, he has hope, his spirit is free. Meanwhile, Tzeentch is laughing his head off at Khorne's expense.
It really is hilarious that Dorn's most memed quote is also his coolest.

Fulgrim isn’t like his brothers, he was more of man. He never tried to claim his world or control it but only elevate there quality of life because he could, he took a wife simply because he loved her knowing she would grow old and die, he joined his father no questions asked as he new it would stop much suffering. Yet he was handed a broken nd sick army half the size of his brothers. Fulgrim was never a Demi god or an immortal he was always just a man nd that’s why he was corrupted like a man. He’s genuinely a insanely well written character nd I’d highly recommend that 40k bones guys video he did on his recently.

I'm a huge fan of all 40k lore and over the past year or two have discovered some superb narrators on here but I do have to say that you sir are among the very best. Delivery is superb, the emotion literally oozes from the narration (or lack of it in terms of this The Dornfather) and I can only applaud the time and effort you are putting in for us the listener to savour over. Thank you and keep up the good work (please!)

@DoomSlayer-MAGAthe chaos gods are easily at a level where they can stop him, they are multiversal level gods invading every universe in the warhammer multiverse at the same time, even invading alternate realities of the same universe.
The gods in 40k are the same chaos gods in fantasy and age of sigmar just viewed through three different lenses.
