Thrush is a heavier built and better flying airplane than an Air Tractor. Air Tractors are designed to be faster and lighter so that they can haul a larger payload and fly faster. There are a few other small differences but there aren't any other major ones in the two. Air Tractors are more common in Ag Aviation and preferred by many pilots. Thrush also has a fair sized group of pilots that refuse to fly anything besides a Thrush. But to answer your question, I think most would agree that the main advantage is the increased stability in flight.

It is an air tractor rip off. Look on thrush wiki page. It states the designer of the aircraft is Leland snow. Sound familiar. The founder of air tractor. Thrush is just an old design of what is now the air tractor. Thrush has air tractor to thank for everything they do. Air tractor does something, thrush rushes to copy it.
Thrush is way safer have u seen all the accidents with air tractor the are Almost alway land on there back and kill pilot they might be lighter but not nearly as safe and thrush went through multiple different owners that made them better and tougher
