The fact that Deedee is wearing a Steven Universe shirt and made this cover to celebrate the release of the movie shows just how much the crewniverse love this show and see it as something more than another piece of work to voice act for. This warms my heart and makes me love the show and all the people behind it even more.

The show could not have picked a better voice actor for her. When I close my eyes, I can clearly picture her singing. This show is so special to me, I love it so much! This duet was beautiful ❤
It's really emotional to think of Pearl singing this song. She sounds so proud, like she's finally seeing the crystal gems relax after so much growth and trauma. And Pearl doesn't really have songs about relaxing and relinquishing control for a little while.

I absolutely love pearl in the show, for many many reasons, but her gorgeous voice is one of them. It's just so perfect for the character - so elegant and composed but also flowey and soooo lovely, like a fresh dawn ( if that makes sense)
i'm 17 now, but when i turned 12 i started watching steven universe and immediately fell in love with pearl. thank you for helping to create such a relatable character. to this day, she's still my favorite
