It's genuinely rather impressive how much this game has changed over the years, I've only just started to learn about these new mechanics because of these videos, it's nothing like it was when it started out.
Yeah ikr. Like I started playing again for OG season and continued because I found the new season fun and the first thing that got me was how chaos the game is. Like killing the bosses is annoying asf bcuz u can’t tell real players. And annoying ass music lol

@@protoni6996bro the pump shotgun is kinda bad now it only does 185 damage max and alot of the time it only does 38 damage and that's a gold one, so I prefer the new ones, just my opinion

that npc drives me insane
It's impossible to win against that mf in final zone he just throws clingers everywhere and he has like 600 HP or something, I sniped him 4 times and it didn't even crack him
Yeah he helps a ton with countering ballistic shields. Btw the metal mouth guy and mecha leader shadow both throw cluster clingers.

Clusters are actually the worst throwable in the game nobody uses them and half the time you do you hurt yourself
I used 4 cluster clingers to wipe a team of 4

I was in a 1v1 in ranked and hired him he ended up breaking it down with clingers and I lost
they’re so annoying for both parties tbh, like you can get your own builds nuked if you hire them, or against them you can just be bombared by a sudden 100+ damage

The heavy specialist in builds is pretty good he can throws clingers in people box and can abuse the frenzy auto shotgun. He actually steals my kills sometimes lol

Used fish yesterday and started seeing the mark players, didn't know why it was happening but got second place because of it. Wouldve won but last player was camping behind a shield. Thanks for the info
Remember when they nerfed the shield for like a week then made it op again
Pro tip, the fish dude can be unhired to use his rift ability. If you have a teammate they can re hire him before using the rift so you can essentially have infinite rifts for rotates

Imagine seeing someone ramp rush you with port-a-bunkers in ZB💀💀💀
NPCs are broken as hell, especially in no build
Not only do they fight back and deal damage to you, but they also can act as bait/a meatshield and, in the heat of the moment, they can easily distract you during a gunfight, giving your opponent the first shot
Not only that, but you cant kill them, because they have massive HP/shields and if you do waste your ammo firing on them that will leave you open to their owner attacking you while you are reloading
I can understand letting you buy items from them or killing them to take their guns, but hiring them shouldn't be possible, its just way too unfair and its not even fun
Yeah, NPCs that can be hired are dumb AF.
I actually developed quite a good plan with npcs on zb duos almost perfect
Especially in groups since each person could hire an NPC, at least back in season 1 of ch 5 not sure about now

Don't hire the fish! He's been broken for weeks now! He doesn't ping, he doesn't have a gun, and all he can do is revive! Beware!
Snow striker will also aimbot people. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve been killed by him while flying with shockwaves or using a zip line.
Whenever someone else uses the Mecha Shadow Leader bot, they seem to have incredibly precise throws with the cluster clingers. But when I hire it, the bot be chucking them at me, revealing my location to everyone within a 200-meter radius. The bot will also pickaxe my builds when I'm in a build fight or trying to create a skybase. In duos, when I need the bot to revive me, it sometimes starts randomly emoting instead.
That sun tan specialist would rather run off and fight than revive you though and he can't fight well.
A tip for countering npcs: is usually best to focus on the actual players from range. Npcs rarely have good accuracy but can tank shots really well, so they're just a distraction. You can sometimes hit them to cause them to retreat or take cover though.
Yeah, and once the hirer dies, the NPC just goes home, looking lonely and defeated.

He helped me kill a duo and then he stole 2 of my kills from another duo. Then he saw someone in the mountain and proceeded to kill himself 💀

If you can't get to Sun Tan Specialist, Dara will do in a pinch. She does the same thing but you can find her closer to Fencing Fields.
The one that is still in the game is Artemis who reveals all chest locations and also marks enemies

Just don't go in the giant ice patch by grand glacier and he should be fine for whatever reason he always dies if you go there. There are some other spots too but that one's the worst.
The first one is defensive then the second one is passive and the last two are aggressive

Hope, the battle pass girl, sells grapple blades and hee location is pretty good for ranked solos or duos, and maybe but probably not trios (not enough loot at the place)
I love dropping right on snow Stryker. He dosent do much but mark enemies and tank the npc’s ar grand glacier so you can easily take the medallion without having to worry about getting 3rd partied as much. It also helps when you rotate into reckless railways since it marks the boss and anyone camping vaults. After that though it’s mostly better to get other NPC’s as they are better for close-range combat.

It’s fine, there’s plenty of spaces around it. Drop crash site or the camp on the largest peak. The peak camp has slap effect and guaranteed 70 shield. Dropping crash site has plenty of barrels and you can rotate into grand glacier or base camp. You can also go into that building below base camp and come for max shield with a gun to zip back up to base camp, or go into the coral buddies cave after that.
Really just saying “summit base camp” is bound to get more players there but I personally find myself getting 7 elims no problem right off spawn. It really comes down to how well you drop and how fast you loot.
Bro epic just keeps adding more npcs and bots to this game to the point that it feels like a single player game
The flipping clinger npc and the graveyard is so annoying every 10 seconds it throws 10 clingers and it’s rlly annoying to fight against

I was using the clinger bot, and one of my friends/teammates died ( we were playing trios. His reboot was left in the storm so we decided to hire the clinger bot since it was going to be difficult with just the 2 of us. THE BOT SAVED ME AND KILLED 2 PLAYERS WHILE IN A FIGHT!! Even better...WE WON THAT ROUND! The npc is amazing and saves you from collecting Klinger's for those who collect them.
My g metal mouth is also very useful in both zero build and build. Whenever he sees any enemy, he just spams clingers which is op

I was in a ranked zero build game. Just got out of storm with 10 hp on a 5 tick. I saw a suv parked and knew there was people. I sniped but hit an NPC. My friend was dead and I was really low. I escaped for a second, hit one of the duos forgetting about the second one and getting shot. Bro had like 4 NPC and they all lazered me making me low
Snow sight has a weapon but never uses it and contract giller fan sometimes doge bullets by crouching EXACTLY when you do
Contact agent fish stick was glitched, and he did nothing until the newest update they changed him and there’s a lot more npcs
when I play ranked I play trios one of us gets a healing npc, one gets a npc with clingers, and oen that marks . ez way to get to champ
The ones that mark players no longer mark players it’s very lame that they removed that
There’s an embassy that’s also overpowered the one that throws cluster clingers and they are overpowered.
There is also one in front of lavish lair that marks enimies for you

Snow striker ftw. I have an issue though because when I rotate with a launchpad, snow striker is often eliminated.
One time I hired Metal Mouth and I sniped a guy so I started pushing, but I didn't even have to do that, because Metal Mouth threw the new grenade thing (idk what it's called) and I landed directly on the guy eliminating them.
Now ur team can become a scanner with Emma frost
And you van use Artemis

I was spectating the final two after I placed sixth, and one of them had four mythics, and the other had the black bear npc you find at one of the train stations... the guy with npc won due to the cluster clingers

Snow striker is better there is more loot and other places to quickly rotate to, the fish is good but his poi has almost no chests and takes longer to get to a better loot area
