Twitch streamed an event called Pit Crew, where two wrestling legends and FGC community members, Kenny Omega and Demetrious Johnson (AKA Mighty Mouse) face off in an intense Street Fighter 6 set. I'm so glad Kenny talked them into dropping the gimmicks at the end. I'm fine with the other game modes, but it was a hat on a hat on a hat with the controller and the gpu change.

Why so surprised? PRO GAMERS ain't the only humans who can cook...the community just ONLY pays attention to them only..alot of us are cooking out here but we're not pros so everyone is "SHOCKED" and SURPRISED to see good gameplay from someone who hasn't participated Ina major event or hasn't made a famous gamer name for themselves
Demetrious Johnson is definitely not a pro wrestler and nothing against wrestlers but as potentially the best fighter of all time the dude deserves more credit than that
Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson is a Mixed Martial Artist guys lol. He's the current Flyweight champ in OneFC. He's not a pro wrestler (at least not in the sense of WWE).
Also gotta add that he's the UFC flyweight goat and considered one of the best fighters of all time along with Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, and George St Pierre. Everyone should look up his mousetrap submission he did as a UFC champ.
Considering Kenny is already familiar with SF, didn't really expect DJ to actually had play the game 😮

MightyMouse streams a lot in his youtube channel. He also isn't a casual gamer either. He plays all sorts of genres of games. I remember him and rampage playing Soul Calibur 6.

I've been saying this for a while actually! SF has always had an old school wrestler, a few luchas and a joshi, but no modern western pro wrestling characters. Kenny would be perfect tbh.

Hey as a huge as nerd that just started a martial art. I gotta say I was amazed for the first few weeks on how I can feel my weaknesses being exactly the same both in the game as IRL. I feel similarly in stuff like mental load. It's pretty bonkers how they nailed it. Only the whole grappling part needs some work.

It's a pro wrestler versus a mixed martial artist, not 'pro wrestlers'. And Kenny is definitely not an S-tier famous wrestler, though he's one of the best known non-WWE ones and obviously very good at his thing.
