  • A tad cloudy but otherwise all good here in Noosa this morning. A bit of rain on the horizon but all clear at the river mouth with a light 4 to 6 knot southerly breeze blowing. A gnarly swell on the bar, standing up at times out the back. A few birds working in close. BOM forecast is for south easterly winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas: Around 1 metre. Swell: Easterly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore. Filmed between 5.45am and 6.35am which was not far off a 0.91m low tide. Background Music: 'Hurts So Good Blues'... by Unicorn Heads.

The Noosa outrigger boat crews are keen, lit up like cruise ship 🛳️- when time permits and you have the drone, any chance of a dredge update on what they have done👍 cheers love your work

Note the charter cat hits the breaking waves on a slight angle, that first one at 2.37 hit more square on, taking a big hit 😂😅😂😅

Any plans to dredge the channel to sea?

Not as far as I know. No point really. The sand at the river mouth moves constantly with the tides and swell so would be a very short term result.
