With the incredibly low number of sales and active players, I would love to see how they support this game even upto the 13 braniacs lol. Wouldn't be surprised if they make you fight some "host" braniac to end to them all in one go in the next season to wrap it up.

Rocksteady wanted to make this. They weren't even making a DC game it was an original IP live service multi-player looter shooter type game. WB just wanted it to be suicide squad. So Regardless the studio would've put out a live service of sorts.
Harley has the fastest traversal actually, it just takes a while to master. It’s a looter shooter and has always been advertised as such, so maybe that’s why there’s so much ‘shooting, shooting, shooting’
Damn, is it actually faster? (Maybe skill tree?) I feel like even if it is, it's a lot more rigid in movement. Like the riddlers races are easiest I felt as Deadshot. (Maybe some people feel different) The Avengers game is also advertised as a looter shooter. But in that game a lot of characters are entirely melee based, like I was hoping King Shark would play more like hulk than the same as the others here.
Borderlands is also a looter shooter. That didn't stop each character from having cool unique abilities. Zero had his invisibility, throwing stars, back stabbing enemies with his sword, etc. Maya had different psychic abilities she could use, like floating enemies into the air, and siphon enemy life to heal her team. You can have a looter shooter and unique character abilities.
Well, since the Sweet Baby Inc. was directing it and all the guys from Rocksteady that worked on previous Arkham games left, we could guess that the game is going to be a flop. Making all man-connected things as bad, for example - sexual assault, when Harley touched Deadshot without his consent or when She was pretty much hitting on kid Ivy (and this doesn't have any sense since HARLEY WAS STILL GRIEVING JOKER'S DEATH). So now we have a pdf-ilia and sexual assault, but since woman does it, it's okay. Yet, think what would have happened if roles were changed, not funny anymore, huh? This game got destroyed by woke idiots, that didn't know anything about the universe (green lantern boss and the ring incident). The game's not worth a stupid cent.
Wait you telling me this is 100 buckaroos? I could of understood like 40 or 50 bucks. No live service game should be fucking 130 buckaroos. Thats insane. I do 130 when I get another fucking game out of it and even then thats way too much.
I've played this game and it's better than Avengers the character's movements are great, the gunplay is solid, and The boss fights are good (besides brainiac and Batman) but could be better but still are better than Arkham Knights, I don't know how you got confused with the crafting system or how you found the missions hard but there were a bit repetitive (especially the stupid protect the cargo missions), The story's great as well which you didn't mention. It's like a 7/10
Every other review I've seen is ONLY talking about the story, so I wanted to focus on the gameplay. (I'm not a big fan of the story, but it's whatever, it's also technically not over yet) I never said I felt the combat was difficult, I just felt it was sluggish and uncomfortable to control, And the characters felt too similar to keep it interesting. The crafting system was just filled with so many tiny stat changes that it felt like it was a waste of time to navigate through those menu's. I'm happy some people are enjoying the game and feel they got their money's worth
Avengers to me were like 6/10 game an OK nothing more. But in fact characters played differently which was an incentive to try or level them up. The loot and progression though… it would be better if they drop the loot do. Single player and create additional paid content instead of some which was offered for free. If the base game is good and even though I do not like yearly passes I think it is a better business model. I know completely different cup of tea but game like SnowRunner base game had enough content, and for people who wanted more there are yearly passes.
Yeah, avengers overall is just kinda ok. But my my view on the game is mainly: "price to enjoyment" $5 for avengers is a pretty good deal, whereas $100 for Suicide Squad I just felt robbed.
