That extra access hole that you said you were gonna have to patch: Couldn’t you just put a blank electrical cover plate over that? You might have to put a empty box behind it but that would be quicker and easier and it’s not visible anyway..
@ and that would allow you to easily reopen it should you want to in future. A couple bucks for parts but would look good. If it’s a bit too big hole for a single plate, you could use a duplex blank plate.
@@TheTourettesTrucker I used a blank cover plate on a porch light switch that I moved a couple feet to get it out from behind a screen door. That’s why I thought of it.
