Going through his sketchbooks, I already guessed he doesn’t like drawing birds much. His sketchbooks have like a tiger every 5 pages, but a bird is a rarity(he does have some sketches though)
he doesn't hate drawing birds though, he just mostly draws humans, some of his favorite drawings even has alot of birds in them, but u can tell from his knowledge alone that he has studied them, i think if you want to learn to draw freely you have to study everything :)
