I called Medicool direct just now! 1-310-782-2200, they only charge 10.00 to repair the variable speed switch. Not including shipping of course. This is not bad at all. I was going to order the switch myself, but this is way better than me doing it.

It seems many people have problem with speed control. Mine was stuck with high speed yesterday. Doing search for it, now I find this video but read the comments, I don't know should I fix it or trash it. This guy will not reply anybody comment!
My father has the same problem. To fix the speed, you must buy a new rotating switch (B20k potentiometer or whatever it says on it), but the market will not have the exact switch you are looking for. You must make some modifications to the switch and solder it. Medicool company does not have this specific component sold individually.

Seem like this product really got problem with the speed control, mine is just run at the max and can’t control the speed at all.

This people will not show you how to repair they just want you to buy a new one. they suck, call that a repair? go to hell.

We've only had our 20K for a few weeks and now the variable speed control no longer works. Its suck in high speed.
