Hi, the tool I used to connect the wires is called the Soldering gun. Any soldering gun kit sell by Amazon, Target or Walmart usually comes with a little bit of solder lead to connect the wires.

Hello, great video. My friend has a lavinda nail drill, and I have a 3d printer. It has lost its torque and the failing part that we see is the white plastic bit. I would like to know the purpose of the spring so I can design a fix. I currently have a rough fix for now that has some torque back, but they said it's not the same as new. There is a "+" pattern on both ends and wondering what's stopping me from doing a direct drive. Currently the plastic bit has a recess for the spring which connects to the chuck but maybe my depth is wrong. Then the side connecting to the motor fits and spins. Thanks 👍
