Secret Redwood in SoCal (Carbon Canyon Park Hike) | Popular Hiking Trail in Orange County

- On today's Los Angeles day trip, Carbon Canyon Regional Park to hike and see Redwood in SoCal. Carbon Canyon is a fairly easy and flat 3-mile hiking trail. There are a few different trails you can choose from, just follow the sign. The park is nicely kept and they have signs everywhere. It is safe for kids or the elderly.
A little info: Entry is free, parking is $5 to enter the park on weekend (card accepted). There is restroom and water in the trail head.

Where did you park that it was free? I'm pretty sure to get into Carbon Canyon you need to pay a fee to park... unless you walked in from nearby
