Another Great Vidja. I like seeing the love you have for these trucks. I've been a mini Trucker since I was 15 and bought my Yoda. I'm now 48, Own a shop and your vidjas bring me back to all the things I had to fix on the side of the road, In the winter or just customizing. Keep it going! It's Great seeing a younger guy have the passion on working on cool shit.....NEVER LOOSE THE PASSION!
I will for sure never lose the passion! I’ll only turn it into bigger and greater things for sure!! Thanks so much man, and I feel the same way we’re always on the side of the road trying to figure something out or in the driveway doing something cool!! Thank you!!
Cool vid , truck looks good. I swapped the hood, front fenders, markers, and front bumper from a 95 pathfinder! I even did the power window swap from the same model
I love to hear that! I really like the Pathfinder nose look! And that’s cool to hear that you used the power windows as well! I think on this truck we want to put the electric mirrors on it! mainly just for a different look from the other trucks we have!
Thanks for the video I plan on doing this swap also. The wider headlights, Clear corner lights Clear bumper lights, 4x4 fenders, 4x4 fender wheel well plastics L/R and push pins. I also prefer the older style hood with the 3 holes. I like the 93' style blackbumper instead. The power windows would be a cool thing to add as well. Your chrome features will match your mirrors and Wiper arms, but I prefer - Black mirrors - All Black Wiper Arms Tip for anyone getting Wiper arms off another truck...watch out not to break the plastic covers, and try to get ones with the plastic not cracked.. You gotta be careful pulling the wipers off, and some lite tapping and shaking the wiper arms will free them up and then they will lift off. Another trick I found is to use a gear puller to pull the Wiper arms off. 1998-2004 Frontier tailgates should fit as a tailgate swap also. Truck is looking good - Thanks
@@JapaneseMinitruck holy shit🤣 glad you’re still here with us and safe.. I’ll check the videos out. I have a mini truck my self king cab, and I’m just now starting to mess with it.. so I’m out here doing diy ideas
Nice video thanks for the mod video as well. If I did that mod I would try and sand and take care that rust and repaint to prevent further rust witch will effect future rotting. Aloha from hawaii 🤙🤙🤙🤙 93 hb auto swap
I for sure agree, we ended up trading the truck up for something else after winter, if we knew it would’ve been a long-term vehicle though that definitely would’ve been the route!! Thanks so much for watching the video too!
All aftermarket parts to replicate original parts, but essentially yes, it’s an original Pathfinder nose on a Nissan hardbody, typically the factory lenses on the corner would have orange these are aftermarket so they’re full clear
So these ones came on the truck when we got it but I got some similar ones from my 4 x 4 hardbody that are 7 inches wide instead of 10 and I just found them on Facebook marketplace, the trucks are a strange wheel pattern especially since they’re a six lug but I would definitely check out on Facebook groups or just Facebook marketplace!!
For sure!! Thanks so much for the feedback! Once we get closer to spring I’ll have some really cool upgrade videos coming, right now since there’s snow on the ground where I live we’re doing a lot of maintenance videos!
I don’t see why you couldn’t, as long as it’s sturdy! I think the only downside which isn’t that big of a deal is having to drill out the riv nuts if you need to takeoff the housing, but it’s not like it would be a consistent thing so I would send it!
So I have staggered wheels with 8 inch in the front and 10 1/2 in the rear! And 195 50 15 tires on the front and 225, 15 50 in the rear, also I get most of my parts off of carparts.com!
@@JapaneseMinitruck I didn’t know if that was a safe website or not I kept seeing them pop up thank I really appreciate it I accidentally just bought it as a daily and got to lookin and now I wanna build it 😅
Super worth it they’re a lot of fun to build and really affordable! Carparts.com has been great to me I was skeptical at first but they like sent me a new fender free of charge when one came in a little messed up! Didn’t even have to return the other one!

This specific year is 91! I’m not sure about 86 but I know from 87 to 89 Nissan hardbodies came factory with this front end! But you could make it fit on any model from 86. 5 to 97! It’s very interchangeable and doesn’t take a lot of time to do!
I mean I don’t think it’s impossible but it’s definitely wouldn’t be easy at all, I definitely don’t think it would be easy to slam it without some crazy work switching everything over to a lot of 2 Wheel Drive components,
can confirm, I attempted to lower a 4 x 4, and it was not successful. Even with a lot of custom work, I ended up chassis, swapping the truck to a rear wheel drive frame. hahaha
I mean, I’m not too sure about the legality of them depending on where you live but if you just run a clear halogen, they basically grow a yellow tent and you can’t see them through the lens so it’s a win-win
@@JapaneseMinitruck I had just gotten the pathfinder grill and head lights from a junk yard today and remembered watching your video on the conversation months ago now that I can do it I really like the way the clear corner lights look I was just wondering if I could run a clear light but you gotta point on what your saying about the halogen lights anyways thank you for responding I appreciate it🤙🏼
@@alexr.4873 yo, that’s sick! The kind of fun and no swap looks great, if you use LEDs in the side marker lights as long as they’re not your blinkers, I think you would be able to get away with that as well!
Unintentionally we’re running a straight pipe with a cherry bomb eventually that will change though, we had bought the truck like that, it was fun for a couple months but it’s definitely too rowdy and doesn’t sound too great, highly recommend going with 2 1/4 inch piping magna flow muffler and a vibrant resonator before the muffler, it has a beautiful sound!

Yes, it legitimately makes it look clear as it should look, if you get clear lenses and leave the orange bulb, it wouldn't look legitimately clear, why is that hard to comprehend? When you buy the clear corner lenses, they give you orange box to put in them, I was just stating to use a clear bulbs from the factory so you don't have a little orange spec in the middle of your clear lens to keep a full 100% clear look.
