@@josephkasprzyk4758 thanks man! This year has been a disaster for many and yeah winter is coming, but we all got a chance to learn how to appreciate things we took for granted. At least we're alive!
A great remedy for seasonal depression are large amounts of LED panels with relatively high color temperature (4000-6000K). They're said to be bad for your eyes but my brain still believes days are 18 hours :P (But smoking more pot, as @Joseph Kasprzyk recommends, is a good idea regardless 🤣 )

I love Mikael's acoustic stuff. I actually got to meet him during the recording of Blackwater at Fredman studio and he let me play his acoustic guitar. Was surreal to play the instrument that produced the sound that I so dearly loved all those years. Nice choice.

Walking in the misty, biting, cold when most leaves gone and listen to Damnation, is what the Autumn is all about. It's like Mike boiled down the very essence of Autumn in this album.
Yeah, it's basically what November would sound like if it was music.
I feel that way with a lot of their music. Still Life is that eerie October mist that creeps in in the evening and brings a haunting sense of dread with it. BWP is walking through a forest at dusk, under dressed for the weather, as a biting cold brings the first snow of the season, and you worry that you left for home too late.
Re-reading my comment makes it painfully obvious that I those two last cups of cough medicine was a wee bit too much.

About three years ago i lost an old friend to a car accident. We were both into metal, and when i was asked to play at his memorial i picked Hope Leaves. I haven't really played it since. Hearing you begin by playing it so beautifully was like a punch in the gut, but in the best way. Thanks for your artistry 🤘🖤

Some of their best work made somehow even more haunting by your hands, and it sounds *really* good on a classical.
Awesome video! Opeth is my favorite band, everything is poetic about them. From the music to the lyrics. If you haven't heard, there's two songs from them that were limited edition releases, "Patterns in the Ivy II" and "Still Day Beneath the Sun" both of them are acoustic pieces and absolutely beautiful. If you haven't heard them, I think you would very much enjoy them.
