The real key to an Opeth song is to have at least 5 different utterly brilliant riffs, worthy of their own song each, within a 5 minute window.

Just cycle through brilliant riffs Chuck Schuldiner style, more or less. Maybe add atonal passages between the riffs for a smoother ride and boom- you've got yourself a banger

Interestingly Opeth’s bass tone is very rarely distorted but has more of a clean, jazz tone

Should do The Faceless. Tremolo picked riffs ending with weirdly stretched chord, sudden sweep picking lick, accidentals, and tremolo picking sections. In no particular order.
