To curl your hair with foil and heat, you will need:
Aluminum foil
Hair Dryer
Hair spray
Pintail comb

Additional tips:
For tighter curls, use smaller sections of hair and roll the hair up more tightly.
For looser curls, use larger sections of hair and roll the hair up less tightly.

I have a shoulder length bob. When I curl it, I blow dry it with a little memory curl moose. I qtr it & twist the qtrs into little buns, clip them. Let them set while I put my make up on. I get a look like Kelly Mcguillis in Top Gun. My hair is fine so the curl does loosen, but I end up with a nice beach wave.
It takes like 15 mins total between drying & finish.
I have been wondering if you could curl your hair with a rope braid but my thought process was to do it on damp to dry hair (no foil, no heat!).

I have very straight hair and when I curl it it doesn’t hold curls more than few hours unless I put some spray in it and I don’t like it. The only curls that holds long time it’s with foil I roll strands wrap in foil and heat it with hair straightener then let it cool down and my curls last few days. The only thing is these curl pattern isn’t modern 😅 it looks like old lady curls 😂😂 I will definitely try your technique but will heat curls with straightener then let completely cool down and then remove foil

Seems like it's MORE WORK with underwhelming result compared to using curling iron or curling barrel.
But the result is more natural😊
@@olgamadsen8456 You can achieve that look WITHOUT THE HEAT just by rolling and tying your hair - just like what girls do everyday when they tie their hair back.
Not more work than tonging, this takes 5 minutes. But result isn't what I'd look for. Another tiktok fail
