Man idk anything about college basketball or top high school b-ball, but my god, my first impression of Peyton Watson is pretty much as good as it can get atm. He seems like a super humble dude that's aware of what's going on outside of basketball, and has foresight about his future. He already has the aura of a star, I'm definitely rooting for him now regardless of how well his game translates.

No need to change an effective recruiting pitch: marketability and weather. Why did LeBron want to play out his last years as a Laker? Why did Westbrook come home to LA to join the Lakers (yes a ring would be a nice finish to his career). When I was at UCLA and went to the Men's Gym, there were NBA'ers playing pick up games. From Rico Hines runs to just pros practicing it's super accessible for young players to not only play basketball but have access to connection. That's why UCLA is still the place in spite of bad basketball the past couple of years. Good coaching and hopefully signing with Jordan Brand might boost UCLA's spotlight again. Their defense picked up though in his first year, and it's been okay this year, but a lot of that is his personnel. I'm looking forward to seeing Watson, and the new guy this year, Clark, is a ball-hawk.
