My son has lived in Copenhagen for 7 years and loves it there (except the LONG dark winter days) he speaks Danish fluently and now has a Danish wife. We try to visit regularly. Scandanavian design is very simple, clean, bright and airy. Through conversations, I have learned, because they deal with long dark winters, they keep it as light as possible. As an Interior Designer with a son who is an Architect, we really love the history and Architecture there. Danes are very friendly & love to practice their English, so it is easy to communicate there.
Wow, I don't think I've ever had a moment in my life where it's hit me sooooo hard how easy it is to take things we become used to for granted. Imo, quality.....
. in craftsmanship, in places, in people......should never be taken for granted. This is why I look sooooo forward to your video's. Design and emotion go hand in hand and you never know what's going to affect you. Ty❤
Parker and your husband are twins!!! So excited you are there..... I have not lived OS, but being married to an international airline captain with his career spanning well over 30 years I've spent a lot of time in so many wonderful places over and over. I'm so excited to finish watching.... Love Copenhagen and you are so fortunate to have lived there!

Copenhagen is so beautiful! My brother has lived in Denmark for the past 13 years since he and my sister-in-law (who is Danish) got married. He is fluent in the language and their sweet kiddos are fluent in both English and Danish. I think it’s just the coolest thing ever. I absolutely love where they live, which is such a sweet blend of suburbs, farmland and downtown areas. My brother’s father in law is an architect but he also raises cattle. I can’t even explain the feeling of being there. The air is different; the pace is different. Just incredible. And I love Copenhagen as well! My husband and I are planning to get over there to spend a couple of weeks with them again this year. Can’t wait! Also, I don’t know how I missed that you all are in the Atlanta area. We are too! So glad that you all enjoyed your trip!

Copenhagen is great. Only fond memories of it. We biked everywhere. Love your excitement. 😃Whenever I go home (North of Germany) first stop is the grocery store, buying EVERYTHING I cant get in the States. So happy for u that u got to go back “home”, even if just for a short while.😊

Copenhagen has been a dream destination for me for the past six years. Had planned to go in 2020. Fingers crossed I’ll get there next year or 2024 by the latest.

I live on the east coast + never had the opportunity to live in Denmark but have visited copenhagen several times and can say I am just in love with it as you are. Watching the videos and feeding off of your energy is bringing back so many incredible memories for me - Thank you so much for documenting this and sharing - happy tears! The hotel is lovely. When I was there I stayed at the Marriott on the River and it was a beautiful hotel too. Also loved the Royal Copenhagen Shop and having tea and coffee there. Love the artwork in the rooms. I hope you had an empty suitcase to bring things home. I am lucky from Canada about 5 -6 hours direct. Loved also the museum beside Rivoli Gardens. And the market with a lovely coffee place and flowers for sale. Loved that. You make me want to go back real soon.
That hotel room was awesome! I would love for my bedroom to look like that!
I will do the same when travelling, buy a big bunch of fresh flowers and buy a big vase. I have already an excesser to buy big vases.

We were Expats living in Switzerland for 12 years and did a few weekend trips to København…had to spell it the Danish way🤓!!! Do you like the restaurant underneath Hay House, Café Norden (just saw it’s no longer there ☹️ ) and also that YUMMY Delicious Royal Smushi pastry shop next to the Royal Copenhagen store?? Valentina and Jack, I started watching your videos when I moved back to NYC during the pandemic and was designing my apartment but in the process fell in love with your love of travel, culture, and life. It actually kickstarted my desire to live abroad and now I'm in Amsterdam and my partner is in Stockholm!
