Jr set her up too be drugged so she couldn't defend her whereabouts and that she was sober he wanted a amnesiac Sue Ellen too not remember anything about where she was.
This was serious appointment television. I bought this series a couple of years ago and my dad, mom and I watched the whole series. They were hooked. They were in grade school when this aired!
I MISS DALLAS I USED TO WATCH IT ALL THE TIME!!! IT WAS BETTER THEN SOAP OPRAH'S EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS KNOTS LANDING, THOSE WHERE THE BETTER DAYS!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ WHAT A FANTASTIC CAST!!!!!! THEY SURE ARE MISSED!!!!!
@@andyroo9381The biggest BBC radio host in Britain on the biggest show in Europe promoted it very heavily every day when it started, partly as a joke - he kept asking why, if the Ewings had so much money and all hated each other so much, did they all live in the same house? And why did they have wire coat hangers. That sort of thing. His banter between records intrigued his audience so much, they started watching it and got hooked, even though Texas and its society are quite alien to Brits, even now. Dallas was the first US show ever to get into the British Top Ten weekly shows, later followed by Dynasty, but the U.K. success of Dynasty was easier to understand as it had Joan Collins in it, and later multiple British actors. Larry Harman became a huge star in the U.K. and performed for the Royal Family, they were all big stars and, as in USA, are fondly remembered today.
This same darn thing happened to me once. The last thing that I remember from the night before was meeting some buds at a local establishment for a pub crawl. I felt just like Sue Ellen the next day. How dare that JR attack her the minute she got home!
Jr: Perhaps I know a little about drinking. Bobby: How's that Jr? Jr: I had that liver transplant that cost me a lot of money. Bobby: You still drank though!! Jr: Damn skippy
2:29 lmaoo!! LOVE Linda!! ESP when she threw the smack talk back at JR x100 worse. Glad in recent years her ACTING is getting massive props now in ways (for some reason) it didn't back then. Only thing I do not like is Linda's verry long big wild 80s hair! lol Otherwise rest of her gorgeous as ever.
I feel like crying when I see Patrick Duffy. My father looked exactly like him. When I was a kid people would walk up to him to tell him he looked like Bobby from Dallas😢
This is where I think the show really started declining. There was a brief renaissance when Bobby returned. But then they decided to have JR start getting beaten all the time, starting with the BD Calhoun fiasco. And honestly, everyone looks too old to be living at home with Mama and Clayton at this point.
Bobby’s return was great. It was Jenna who outstayed her welcome. The Bobby/Pam/Jenna story had already gone on way too long. Since this was Pam’s last season, Pam and Bobby should have moved into Pam’s house and finished their story. Everyone was too old to be living together. Southfork isn’t that big!
Thanks for the upload !! Nice to see The Ewing's stand Behind Sue Ellen. 😂😂

Knots Landing was on Thursday nights on CBS from 1979-May 1994. God Bless you and Merry Christmas 🎁🎄! Robin
I haven;t this since high school and would love one of the UK broadcasters to re run the early series of Dallas.
Its on amazon prime for free
I never knew the Brits liked Dallas so much. I suppose when I come to think of it, who wouldn't?

@@andyroo9381 It was massive in the early eighties, and it was light years ahead of our cheap and nasty soap operas.
I would drink to if my husband cheated all the time

BD Calhoun is more dangerous than JR in season 10.
Who has more blond hair. BJ Calhoun or Gary Ewing. ??😂😂

Hmmmm.... are there scandalous photos of you I should know about!?! 😆
@andyroo9381 No, this was in 1971.

I didn’t like he hair the way it was styled the last season she was on the show- not enough body just very limp and straight

What season was this? The end scene I wondered if she was drugged and maybe not drinking again?
Season 10. Yes, she was drugged.
@ Thank you.
TV season 9..
@@MrCraigblazeseason 10. Season 9 is when Bobby was “dead” but it turned out to be a dream.
@@Mandylovesjesus2I was born in 1978 and turned 9 in 1987. 😂
Because of BD Calhoun
And damn Jeremy Wendell closed down Ewing oil
Well is she drinking again?
Nope. She was drugged by a terrorist who was after JR
Is there any way of seeing the series on uk without buying it
I bought the lot, they’re brilliant - until season 8, but even so, still has its’ moments.
Someone mentioned it was on Amazon Prime. I don't have a subscription, so I can't verify the statement.
Someone in this comments section said a channel called tubi has all 12 seasons.
