1:07 - You can essentially see Sir Edward's _UTTER, PRIDE & JOY_ ....on full display,...as he begins to conduct these gentlemen, in their rendering of one of the most _PROFOUND_ and _NOBELEST_ of arrangements!
Wonderful! The performance is superb and the sound quality from 1931 is unexpectedly wonderful. What an historical find to be able to hear the Maestro conduct great music. Thank you Pathe!
At the risk of being of being proved wrong, I think the 'sic' could be removed from the title after the word 'Musick' surely? It was Elgar's position, although the art at which he excelled had been, of course, for many years, 'music'. Another British archaism.
Is the title really "The Master Of The King's Musick Sic" or is sic (latin for "yes I'm spelling that like that on purpose") really just to say that you're spelling Musick with a K?

'Good morning, Gentlemen. Glad to see you all. A very light programme this morning. Please play this tune as though you've never heard it before'

At the very end: poor old Elgar had to sit down after 2 minutes of conducting
Inspiring! Especially during this season of graduations, including that of one of our granddaughters, Jacqueline.
Studio One. Thirty-five years and three months later the Beatles' famed orchestral overdub onto "A Day in the Life" was also recorded in Studio One.
“Oh, Elgar! Why do you always find me at my lowest points, Elgar?”

Is there a release on Audio-CD of this recording? I found no one.
Yes. The audio was released on CD and is included in the Elgar Complete Electrical Recordings box set on EMI Records.
