- Hey Folks, come check out this latest update on my 40 Gallon Breeder. It's a NEW YEAR and I'm once again bored with this tank as most of us can relate. We build, we maintain, we enjoy and then we destroy and restart. This video I show you the plants I ordered and where I placed them in the aquarium.

Nope. I’m still alive dude. 🍻🌱
I can’t find any videos about what to use and the ratio for what to use to make it correct levels for bottle purified water and I was wondering if you could make a video about it or help me I really want to get into having fish
Looking Fired Up!!!
Thanks Slim 🔥’d up
I'm planning a new freshwater and really want to use white sand, but have never used Whyte substrate before. Do you think it's going to be a constant fight to keep the sand from turning green or brown?
Of course all the photos/vids I see with nice white sand in tanks are always new so I don't get to see them months later or see how much extra maintenance it requires type of thing....
It will. You just gravel vac every once in awhile
I like the look, I want to change up my 55 gallon substrate to something like this. Unfortunately I set it up a few years ago in a bit of a rush and just got the first thing I could which was kind of ugly tan pebbles. It just seems like a insane amount of work to remove and replace it so I’ve been hesitant. Any tips or suggestions on a good way to go about doing that?
Just say fuck it and get after it. It is a giant pain but pebbles are easier to remove and replace than sand or dirt. Remove the wood and rocks or decorations etc then get a plastic ice scoop or something similar and a bucket and go to town, do a large water change and let it settle overnight then another water change if necessary, then take out half of the water, add your new substrate and everything else.
@@MASSAquariums thanks, appreciate the help.
Hello I am start my own fish tank and I live where I have a well with a softener and I test the water it’s to much kh and gh and the test think it’s salt water so I am buying purified water from a gallon bottle until I can figure out something else but with the purified water the kh and gh is is 0 ppm and I bought Seachem Equilibrium and I use baking soda because I seen it on a video to raise the kh and I can’t get it to the right level and I need help
I have never dealt with that before. I wouldn’t know what ratio to use. Sorry
Boring
Thank you
