I am so impressed with the professionalism of the event coordinators. From dealing with false starts, having pa announcers in the background, with audience noise, and sports media announcers. These events are so professionally done.
Not forgetting the months of training done by all the marbles.

The teams really stepped up their balancing game this year
The fact that the WR was beaten THREE times this year AND by almost 100 points over the previous records really makes me think the committee should open an investigation into things like the use of oils (oiling) or other forms of cheating.
Now I am NOT saying that just because a team is good it means they're cheating (in fact I'm a Hazers fan myself), but if these events want to keep their reputation of fairness then you have to make sure of these things.
To be fair, imo carrying RR's ML16 Balancing record over into ML19 Balancing isn't really fair either due to how different the track and scoring system are. (FTR, sticking to the end in ML16 grants your team 150 points. This year, it's 20 points less.)
They need to implement a weighing system before then event like combat sports. Make sure everyone is on level terms

Well, the other two runs were absolutely phenomenal. If they are indeed athletes, they would recognize that their own run really couldn't complete with those of the Bolts and the Hazers.
In fact, my question is, is there some sort of new technology that helps the runners stay on course, and if so, shouldn't the Committee be looking into banning or somehow restricting its use?
@@gressorialNanites Watching the Hazers' run, it looks like they tried an unconventional strategy of sticking together. Normally, that leads to knocking each other off with the slightest misroll, but the coordination that the Hazers had on display was breathtaking.

@@FeFoReIs They're one of my two normal teams I root for. O'Rangers and Momo. I hope they are able to get back in it soon. I've been watching Green Ducks so far though and as a new team they sure are showing they deserve to be here.
2 Team Momo were rendered unable to compete this event due to altitude sickness and knocked unconscious.

As a Cat's Eyes fan, it was very bittersweet. Great to see them on the podium, but it was disappointing that it ended up just a bronze. Ah well, a medal is a medal, and 7th certainly beats 12th. On to the Slalom!

Momo has never been the same since the accident, but I was sad to see them miss in the qualifiers...
yeah it's a shame, but they did suffer from that injury that ended the career of one of their team members and I have to say the replacement hasnt really been up to par and really needs to get its act together and focus on training so that they may qualify for the next one

Oh, how great to see the recording of the new MR by the Hazers now here on RUclips! I was one of the luckies to witness it live in the stadium. You can actually see my two friends Freddy and Jo and me in the audience at 6:43, second last row on the right, with the banner! Just the night before we had finished the banner. What a once-in-a-lifetime experience that was!

I’m more upset at Galactic tbh. In the water event we we’re poised to win or get a podium finish and they knocked us into the wall which slowed us down and knocked us out. I respect the Hazers, if we’re gonna be beat after 403, it’s gotta be impressive. I respect the Hazers 👌🏽

Looks like I picked a good year to follow the Hazers as my secondary.
I still believe in my O'Rangers though. GOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Don't do it. I was merely disappointed when O'Rangers missed the second round in the water race by .01 seconds. I personally thought they had made it, but it was a close call and the refs just got it wrong. It sux, but it happens.
Then the DNF in the funnel race, despite the obvious necessity of a restart. It was clear then that the MarbleLympics officials had decided that the O'Rangers were not to be allowed to even be competitive this time around.
But today, to rub salt in the wound, Balls of Chaos do get a restart, and for a much less egregious injustice than the event before. It's like the MarbleLympics doesn't want to make even the attempt of an illusion of impartiality anymore.
The winner(s) will be whatever team(s) have bought off the officials the most. From what I can see, at the top of the leader board, only the Green Ducks are clean. I call for an investigation, leading to criminal charges, by first the Dutch Parliament and then the World Court. This needs to happen. Do it. Do it now!

Call me bitter, but I still believe there was some sabotage on the part of the Savage Speeders in the funnel event which caused the O'rangers DNF. They're clearly still bitter about blowing the 2017 Marblelympics to the O'rangers and frankly I'm disappointed that they would stoop so low to tactics like this to embarrass an opponent.
Hi, fan of the Savage Speeders here. Wow, what another amazing Marblympics ®. It's unbelievable how three records have been broken at the one games, I thought it was game over as soon as Crazy Cat's Eyes had taken the lead and the record, but for two more teams to break that is simply outstanding, and all gratitude goes out to the team and there coach. A lot of people in the audience raised questions about doping, but all I see is hard working marbles that had their heads down everyday, working hard at that goal, and I think these accusations of doping is actually quite offensive to the players and their coaches. Too bad the Speeders couldn't get another title, but we'll be back for the next one, fired up and ready.

@@toddmcneill4552 If you look at the previous video for the ruling... they did leave the gate, but got stuck before the first funnel. Yes it's a potential loophole in the rules, but if nothing ever goes wrong, the events wouldn't be as exciting. (And more people would call out tampering with the results. I mean it is easy enough to reshoot an event over and over until the biased desired result happens, and the viewers would be completely unaware. But with the goofs included it helps sell the idea that it's all first shoot results.)

I've been really disappointed in the O'Ranger's performance this year. I absolutely love them but something has been off. Their best placing was only a 9th place and the other two times they either got disqualified or almost last. I still have hope in you O'Rangers but you really need to get up and try your best.
They definitely got second in the underwater race and in the funnels they obviously deserved a redo the balls of chaos got one just because the ref fell which didn’t effect their run at all
Maybe the pressure to live up to Syracuse Football great 2018 record is psyching them out.
I honestly don't think that Kinnowin has what it takes to be a captain, he doesn't appear to be a leader. Nothing personal but changes has to be made 🍊

hauler1212 I know we did good in 2016 with 5th place, then we won in 2017 and now we are 15th, it hurts but remember 2017 when we were doing so bad at the start and the last few events we won a lot from kinnowin, allowing us to win..
I got excited as a mellow yellow fan, but as this event always does... the last 8 are always better than the first :(
So far this year has not been kind to our mellow yellows but we can still pull out on top!

I think its the new arena....and also with more experience and analytics coming into play, teams have figured out the nuances of balancing events. I won't be surprised if we have even higher scores at the next olympics.

Im rooting for them. Pretty happy with the turnout so far, it was a shame the two marbles that let down the balancing team finishers. Could have put a bit more work from the two of them and secured the gold and put them in first place overall

For a new team to the tournament, Green Ducks sure have a lot of grit. The lack of experience does not seem to be a factor. Wish we had a larger crowd/ more prominent crowd in the stadium.
